4 years ago: part 1

"Hmmm .... So it all started 8, years ago when I met him.........

I met him 8 years ago, my brother introduced him to our family...He was 19 years old and it was his and Jake's last year of school, I was 11 at that time. He was a bright but cold child, he was good at academics, sports and writing but he was a quite and cold in behaviour, he never liked talking or interacting too much in the start.

My brother told us that his parents died in a car accident and he is living on his own, my parents felt pity for him and hence they offered him to live at our house and also told him that they will provide for all of his needs as they don't want him to compromise for his studies... He accepted to live at our house but he didn't compromise it with his self respect, he worked at 3 different part-time jobs in a day and never asked my parents about any money for his needs, my parents often scolded him that he shouldn't work at this age and should only focus on his studies but he promised that he will not let these jobs affect his studies. He kept his promise and he always achieved the highest rank in school as well as in college!

Not only this, while he was at our house, he Always helped me in my studies, picked me up from school, helped me from bullies and made me lunch and snacks ... We were on really good terms with eachother... He taught me how to swim, he also encouraged me to pursue my dream, to be a ballet dancer....

He was my biggest cheerleader, received every single event, and was more happy than me whenever I won! He also scolded me whenever I recieved any love confession saying that I should avoid it and focus on my studies!

With the passing time we became really close, He became a member of my family, just like the own child of my parents! He laughed, played, ate, danced and studied with us! He protected me and never let me feel left alone! I called him "BROTHER FELIX" and he used to call me "My little one" !

That day when he met me in the evening for the first time after 4 years, I again heard him calling me "his Little one", I wasn't angry at all, I felt sudden anger, a mixture of emotions, some guilt, betrayal, that why didn't he ever tried to meet me in these 4 years, why did he suddenly vanish away!

"So you hate him because he just vanished away without telling you?" asked Aria

"Nooo! It is a long story!" said Daisy

"Then tell me about it!" said Aria

4 years ago when I was 15, I was asked to perform at a charity banquet hosted by FX industries. I was so much excited because it was the biggest event I was ever asked to perform! Not only this, their CEO personally sent me an invitation with a bouquet of flowers...

Me and my mother were so happy.

"Mom see, will these shoes look perfect?" I showed my dancing shoes to my mom!

Brother Felix and Jake returned from their college, I guess they both were 23 at that time. Felix asked, "little one, you look so happy! Did anything good happen?" he patted her head

"Yes brother Felix, I am going to perform at a huge charity banquet tomorrow!" said Daisy with a bright smile and hugged Felix

"That's really great, my little one will shine tomorrow! I'll come to cheer you up!" said Felix and again cupped her cheeks

"By the way mom, where is this banquet?" asked Jake while picking an apple from the table

"It is at FX industries! We recieved customised invitation from their CEO... And see his name is Edward Cassio, so similar to our Felix Cassio!" said Mrs. Evasco

"See brother Felix, i recieved so beautiful flowers!" said Daisy but Jake said, "I am also here sweetheart, show me also!"

"No, I'll show brother Felix first!" said Daisy while pouting

Felix took the bouquet and looked at the invitation, his face turned dark when he saw the the invitation! I was 15 at that time so couldn't understand why Felix was agitated suddenly! He said, "Don't go at this banquet!"

"Why brother Felix? It is so good! I want to go!" I said

"Yes my child, this is a great opportunity, you should let her go!" said my mother

Brother Felix suddenly left and Jake followed him... They came out of the room and Jake said, "Daisy, brother Felix just thought that you will be tired as banquets run for a long time, that's why he asked you not to go there!"

I looked at Brother Felix and I saw him a little gloomy. I thought he was sad and concerned for me so I said, "Don't worry brother Felix! You will take care of me so won't get tired!" I said

He smiled at me but somewhere I sensed that cold, lonely Felix whom I met in the start!

Next morning I prepared my self! My mother, father and I went to the banquet! Jake and Felix had some work in their college and they said that they will join us in the evening. I went to FX industries and they welcomed us! I got assigned a dressing room while my parents were arranged for the VIP seats. I was too young to doubt anything, come to think of it, i still doubt that why was I given such a special treatment while there were many others who were asked to perform but I thought that my solo performance made it valid for the special treatment which I received.

Banquet started and soon all the performers were invited on stage respectively to perform! While I was at my dressing room along with other performers, some girl came to me and said that I was being called by some assistant...

Without any thinking, i simply did what I was asked for, when I reached at the hallway, I saw a young man with some other gaurds... He came near to me and said, "Are you miss Daisy Evasco?"

"Yes, I am!"

"Very good kid, you need to come with us!"

"Why? I have a performance soon! Can we wait till that?"

"No child, it is something very important! Which can't wait"

"No, I can't...." I said but he said, "It's about your brother Felix, he is hiding a big truth from you and your family!"

I stopped! I could believe what he said!

"Okay I'll come with you!"

"Hmph, smart child, come with us"

They took me to the 8th floor and asked me to stay in a room. When I went inside, I sensed that this is not right, I tried to run away but the gaurds threw me on the ground! I was hurt in my leg!

That assistant said, "Be obedient and wait here, soon Mr. Cassio meet you!"

I yelled, "Why!? Let me go! I don't want to stay here!"

The assistant came close to me and slapped me! I started crying "why are you doing this!"

"I asked you to be obedient, if you try to run away or move then your family downstairs will be murdered!"

I was shocked, i couldn't let my family get hurt so I did as he said.

 I sat beside the corner of the room and buried my head inside my arms and legs.

15 minutes later a man came inside, he was probably in his forties, he came near me and asked, "Is Felix Cassio staying with you and your family?"
