Daisy's Agreement

"Of course, Daisy missed Brother Felix so much! And to make it for all these years, Brother Felix is going to stay in our house for some time ...." said Jake

"What!!??" yells Daisy and stands up

Mrs. Evasco gets shocked upon seeing Daisy screaming like that ....

"Why is he staying here? Doesn't he have his own house?" said Daisy quickly

"Mind your language Daisy!" yelled Mrs. Evasco ... "Felix can stay here anytime, this is my house and I approve of it! You all used to stay here when you were young! What's the matter now?"

Jake thought that this was going overboard! He said,"Oh sweetheart, his home is getting renovated, since he returned yesterday, he couldn't stay in his house and it is also inconvenient for him to stay at a hotel ... Our home is the best choice for him to stay"

"No buts!" interrupts Mrs. Evasco"He is going to stay at Evasco Mansion!

Daisy clenches her fists! She never thought that she is going to live with this man once again in this very same house! She started recalling all those memories... and again felt really unhappy

Felix stood up in front of Daisy

Daisy understood that this man only want to trigger herself in front of mother who will literally throw a frying pan on her head now if she utters even a single bad word for her precious Godson. She thought that she needs to play cool for now...

"I have nothing to do with this! I have my exam tomorrow so I need to prepare for it... Excuse me all of you" said Daisy and walked past beside Felix... went straight to her room.

Felix kept staring at her while she was climbing stairs. *Felix's View*

This Little one is not only bold but also clever now, she instantly turned the tables...*chuckles* Guess I have a long way to go now!

Jake says,"Bro, come, let me show you your room"

"What about that room where I was staying back then?" said Felix

*A sudden scilence*

"What happened?" asks Felix

"uuh,nothing, it's just that Daisy locked that room cuz it was beside her room ... So we never intended to open it" said Jake with a guilty expression

"No worries my dear, I'll ask the servant to clean it and get ready right now! ... That room is yours... You can rightfully stay in that!" said Mrs. Evasco

"Thank you aunty!" said Felix

"Okay bro, now let's complete our remaining documentation in my room" said Jake

"Yeah, let's get back to work" said Felix

"I guess there's something wrong with the documents" said Felix

"Why? Is there anything related to funds?" asks Felix

"No, it's regarding the events and their financial records ...You became president and I became the general manager just an year ago ... but the records of exactly 4 years ago is kinda unacceptable" exclaimed Jake

"Seems like someone meddled with the documents!...." said Felix

"4 years ago, our company hosted a concert of most popular celebrity of the country, An event in Southern France, Our regular donations to orphanage, old age homes, schools and annual charity banquet in which Daisy and other contestants were supposed to be performed .... " continues Jake..."That's what I found on documents , it's profits resulted in a total 500 million dollars according to the documents but if we take a look at the Transactions , they reflect that a sum of 300 million dollars was withdrawn under the name of the Executive of FX industries!"

"At that time, my uncle was assigned as the executive... It seems reasonable if he takes sum from the company's funds but a sum as huge as this is clearly overboard " said Felix

"Exactly! And since that charity banquet failed hence the expenses of nearly a 100 million dollars were not even spent ... So it makes more sense that the company's funds were illegally used by your uncle!" said Jake

"It's not about funds... Ever since I came and took over the company, uncle has been transferred to the Korean branch... But the failure of the charity banquet is still a mystery...." said Felix with a dark face

While Felix was looking out of the window , he saw Daisy sitting beside the pool with a book in her hands , maybe she was preparing for her exam

*Felix's memory*

I guess she was 14, she was walking beside this pool but got distracted by a butterfly and tried to catch it ... But when she turned around, she accidentally fell into the pool. She didn't know how to swim so she began drowning... I just returned from my school and saw that... I ran to save her and without even thinking I jumped into the pool ... Thankfully she was saved!

Later I took her to her room and she changed , later I blow dried her hairs so that she didn't catch cold

At that time too she was so clumsy. I remember that she hugged me and said, "Brother Felix, I was really scared, thankyou so much for saving me!"

"Little one, I had to save you, no one can hurt my little Daisy!"

"I know because Brother Felix is best!" said Daisy and smiled brightly.

Her hairs were wet and due to that she was looking like a small baby girl infront of me, I felt so protective for her as if she was mine! Seeing her into the pool and drowning made my heart ache so much , almost I lost her ... And when she happily said "Brother Felix"... It gave me an uncommon sensation, an urge to protect her, to comfort her, to care for her

Felix was thinking this while looking at Daisy but he suddenly saw that Daisy jumped into the pool... Without even thinking for a second he ran out of the room saying,"This little brat surely knows how to test my patience"... Leaving behind Jake who was lost into the documents.
