Dad

Aria, Trixie and the kids were finally able to make it home late in the night exhausted from the conference. After they all got ready for bed Aria switched on the TV, so all of them could see what the twins did after they left. Surprisingly, it went better than they thought it would and a few minutes into watching they became surprised because it turned out that about ten minutes after they left Rita came in. And told the reporters that everything they say is true to the point that she and Max couldn't wait till their wedding and accelerated it to be in three months instead of five. The reporters gasped in surprise while Max was glaring at her wide-eyed and confused as she was smirking.

And immediately they directed all of their questions to Rita and Max. Meanwhile, Trixie and Aria were watching everything from the TV in their house. They were in utter shock and Aria pointed out that Max did not look happy at the news whatsoever. Trixie added in that she should have known that this would happen since they saw Rita at the entrance to the conference. Aria added you mean when you insulted her to the point where she looked like she wanted to try to kill you again as she was giggling. But for some reason Trixie didn't feel very happy at the moment instead she felt a different feeling which was sadness.

But it quickly went away, and she started laughing at Max along with Aria. After a while of laughing Aria took deep breaths and told her that is what people call karma. Now he has to marry that annoyance Rita in 3 months, and he doesn't seem to like it. After that they switched off the TV and went to bed not knowing what surprise will be awaiting them in the morning. All of them woke up to the sound of the doorbell early in the morning and Aria angrily went up to the door because she thought who in their right mind would be here this early in the morning. She opened the door and her jaw dropped as she saw Jake standing there with chocolate, flowers and what seemed like a bag full of toys for the twins.

She quickly reacted and was trying to slam the door shut, but before she could fully close the door Jake put his foot there to stop her from closing it. Aria shouted if you don't remove your foot now I'll make you lose it with this door. And before she could keep her word he pushed open the door making her fall to the ground. Trixie came rushing wandering what all the ruckus is about. Then saw Aria on the floor with Jake in the doorway closing the door. She quickly rushed to help Aria up asking her what happened and Aria told her that Jake suddenly went crazy and pushed her to the ground.

She stared at her in blatant disbelief and Aria spoke the truth and told her she was trying to close the door, so he couldn't meet her. Before Trixie could say anything Jake talked first handing her the chocolate and flowers saying it's for her. Trixie blushed but when she saw what was in his hand she looked at him with an annoyed expression and asked sarcastically who it was for. He said it was for his kids and Trixie told him that she doesn't remember him having kids in her house and the only kids in the house are her kids. Jake said that now that they are dating, and she's forgiven him, he thinks it's time he meets his kids.

Trixie told him that she gave him another chance not that she forgave him and that he shouldn't jump to conclusions because she hasn't completely forgiven him. She also told him how can I let you meet them when I don't completely trust you. Aria told him that he should get out because he's not welcome in their house. He asked them to let him at least see their faces just once because he wants to at least know his kids a little after all they have his blood. Trixie and Aria both told him to get out and Trixie also told him that she is giving him one last chance, and he should be careful with it.

Jake froze when she said that and asked her to at least show him some pictures of them. In the end Aria softened up and since she thought the twins were asleep she decided that it was okay to take him to the living room and show him their photo album. Once he saw it he asked if he could have a copy, and they just nodded saying they'll make and send him one. He gave Trixie the toys and asked her to please give it to the twins. He also added that it didn't matter if she didn't tell them who it was from as long as she gives it to them. And just as he was getting up to leave the twins came down rubbing their eyes sleepily asking why Aria and their mom(Trixie) were screaming. They froze when they saw Jake and quickly ran behind Trixie because they didn't trust him after what Trixie told them about him not long ago.

Jake smiled gently and knelt towards them asking them to give their dad a hug. But they still held onto Trixie shaking. Jake dropped his hands with a sad expression seeing how sad he was Trixie told the twins that it was okay since he's their father, and they should go and hug him. The twins shyly walked towards him and gave him a hug that's when his eyes lit up, and he hugged them crying. When they finally released each other from the hug, Jake asked if they could call him dad just once. They looked back at Aria and Trixie and saw that they nodded their heads so in a quiet and shy voice they whispered dad.

Jake burst into tears of joy and hugged them again telling them that he'll take care of them from now on and that he's sorry for not being there for them. In the end the twins also started crying because deep down they also wanted a father just like all the other kids that is at their school.
