The day when it all began.

A few days passed by. One fine morning, with a perfect temperature and weather, I woke up. I did my daily routine and finally reached college. I entered my classroom and sat on my desk. Furthermore, I checked the classroom, and it seems both the class representatives and their friends have not arrived. I decided to do some studying. Five minutes passed, Ethan and, Adrian arrived. A minute later, Sofia and Clara arrived. I close my books and call both of the class representatives to discuss the schedule for the day. As we were discussing, I noticed something unusual. They were both acting a bit strange. Or is it just my imagination? I didn’t think about it any further, and thus finished our discussion. Class started and went on without any problem. Then soon, it was time for a break. Clara had gone to the staff room after being called by a faculty member, and Sofia accompanied her. I was sitting in my class, fiddling with my phone. Some girls were talking nearby. I wasn’t interested, so I didn’t care about them. Ethan and Adrian were talking among themselves. Soon the bell rang, and the classes continued.

Now it’s a lunch break. At lunchtime, as I was taking out my lunch box, Ethan called out to me. I turned back to see what the matter was. He then invited me to join them for lunch. I looked to see who was present. And it seems there were Ethan, Adrian, and some other boys from our class. I hesitated for a moment, but then I thought, what will I lose anyway? So, I joined them.

During lunch, suddenly one of them asked, 'Hey! What type of girls do you like?' Upon hearing that, I nearly choked on my food. Do they really talk about those things during lunch? I thought those were just in the movies and dramas. Even though I have had lunch with others during high school, none of them have asked this type of question. One of them answered, 'If I were to say, someone who is mature would be nice', and the guy who asked him, 'Are you into older ladies?'. He replied, 'What? No! Of course not. What I meant is someone who is calm and handles any tough situation without panicking'. Adrian replied, 'Opposite of you, huh? You always start to panic when you don’t know what to do. But they are kind of charming, rather than having someone who freaks out over a little thing'. The boy replied, 'Yeah, they kind of look cool in that situation. And that’s what I like about them'. Then Ethan said, 'But the girls who panic are also good. They rely on you in tough situations, thus making you look manlier in their eyes'. The boy who asked replied 'Yeah, you are right; if you help them in that kind of situation, your likability meter will increase, and you will look like a knight in shining Armor who has come to save their princess'.
