Class representatives (Part 2)

Now that I think this is the first time that I talked with her, or maybe not? Hmm, I can’t remember. Well, whatever, I guess. Now that I have taken on the responsibility, I have to do it properly. My precious gaming time has decreased. I feel like crying. Ding… Dong… Ding… Dong… That’s the sound of the bell ringing. It’s time to start the classes. First period was math, which is not a favorite subject of mine, but it’s not like I hate the subject, either. What about our four main characters? Well, as usual, Adrian is using me as a cover to sleep through the class. Ethan feels like he is watching a foreign-language movie without subtitles. Sophia and Clara are listening to the class properly. The rest of the class is either absorbed in their own work or daydreaming.

Well, that is not anything new. Most of the classes are like this. The only class where everyone is active will be the classes at the end of the day. Oh boy, you won’t believe how active they will become. They will be constantly checking their watches as if they are monitoring a patient’s ECG machine. And if there are only two minutes left, they will start to pack their belongings and get ready to go home. I cannot blame them since I do the same. But before going home, I have to inform those two class representatives that I will be helping them with their work from tomorrow onwards. So, after the end of the classes, I call both of them and inform them about the things that have happened in the morning. Once the meeting was over, I went straight to the bus stop that is near our college.

It was 4:15 pm, and my bus is supposed to arrive at 4:30 pm. There were only 15 minutes left until the bus arrived. I take out my wired earphone from my backpack and connect it to my smartphone, and then I start listening to music while I wait for the bus. After 15 minutes had passed, the bus arrived, and I boarded the bus. After boarding the bus, I saw that all the seats were occupied, so I had no choice but to keep on standing. Luckily for me, there were four stops. And the intervals between each stop were around 15 minutes, so after one stop, I got the seat. Now I had to sit for the next 45 minutes, which is boring. So, during this time, I either play a game or watch a movie, though, a movie is around a minimum of 1 and a half hours. Therefore, I don’t have any other choice but to pause the movie and watch it either at home or the next day.

But today I chose not to do anything because I was tired from all the new things that happened. I sometimes think, 'Why is it so exhausting to interact with others? Is it because we tend to have a façade in front of the person we are interacting with? Or is it because we have to mind our words in order not to hurt other's feelings? Or maybe both?'.
