But when he saw her face he froze in place crying because it was Eveline. She looked at him with disdain in her eyes because they didn't part on a good note. While as he looked at her, he thought she looked so beautiful at seventeen. When suddenly a fireball was flung at him. And Eveline came running at him with a thunderbolt in hand ready to kill him. He was shocked because he could see pure hatred in her eyes, so he counterattacked using ice to freeze the thunder, but the current was too strong and caused a huge explosion. Emelius was heartbroken because it seemed she didn't love him anymore, and he found that understandable. At that moment he understood how Eveline felt when he attempted to kill her and said hurtful words to her. He decided to confess to her, but that made her blow a fuse.

She said," You coward, you hypocrite, you're telling me that you love me when just seven years ago I told you the same thing, and you broke my heart, You even tried to kill me."

Emelius had no words at that moment then Eveline said one of them was going to die that day, and it wasn't going to be her. Then she attacked him with her powers, and he decided that he was going to fight her to the death. In the end they fought for days the area surrounding them were in ruins from the fight, even their soldiers didn't dare to go near. People were calling Eveline the Dragon Princess because she could fight on equal footing with the Dragon Prince. But deep in Emelius and Eveline hearts they didn't want to fight each other because they loved each other. So on the eighth day of their fight they stopped. They didn't want to hurt each other.

They told their soldiers that the rivalry between the two Kingdoms had gone on long enough multiple people had lost their family and friends because of it and that they didn't want anyone else to die. All the soldiers dropped their weapons and decided to reconcile. Both Emelius and Eveline went back to their Kingdoms to ask their parents to stop the war. Thankfully both their parents agreed, and a treaty was signed next month. Emelius explained to Eveline that he truly loved her with all his heart even in his time in her Kingdom it's just that he didn't know it himself yet. So he was given a chance to court her. They went on many dates together seeing new sights and enjoying their time together in both Kingdoms. Finally, after two years of courting they got engaged and Emelius had become the king of Portalius and waited another year to marry Eveline because he wanted her to be twenty years old.

A year later and they finally got married. Emelius didn't want any concubines or other wives because he only wanted Eveline though there were protests from nobles of the Kingdom. Soon after they welcomed quadruplets into the world two boys and two girls named Chase, Luna, James and Stella. They were all powerful in their own aspects, and they all lived happily together. Years passed, and the Kingdom was peaceful and happy but in the palace of Portalius Emelius and Eveline lay on their deathbed. Them both being a hundred years old they passed on together, holding hands as they walked through the gates of heaven together. Though their children were sad they knew their parents were going to a better place.
