I and Betty were on our way to canteen when we spotted Alex. He waved at Betty, i glance and secretly smirk at her, raising my eyebrows 'who is this?' But behind him was bad news, 'Daniel? what was he doing with Alex'. I was about to turn and go back, when Betty took my hand and stopped me, "This is Alex, Dan's roommate and also our senior.", I shook hands with Alex. "How have you been, Venny?", i heard a familiar voice calling my name in a mock way. I roll my eyes and give away a sarcastic smile "I've been doing well, Daniel", 'and will be doing well as long as you are not around'. Betty was surely enjoying this. I took Betty's hand excusing us, "we are short of time as we have classes after lunch." Alex could see the nervousness in my eyes and said hurriedly, "yeah sure, have a good day ahead." On our way back to class, i smirk at Betty, asking her. "Hmmm....So? Alex? Do you like him? he is tall, a..nd looks masculine, totally your type." I knew she liked Aaron, which was a red flag for me. I don't like the idea of being hung between my two bestfriends dating.

I was leaving for home from college when Betty shouted, "ayo...wait for me...i am coming." I did nothing, just stood there, making a sarcastic face at her. Betty, "lezz go sweetie..." with a big smile. I was sulking. When we reached at gate, i saw Alex and Daniel, i was gonna ignore 'em but my inner voice told lets tease my goody girl, i smirk and look at her from the corner of my eye and she knew what i was gonna do. Daniel saw me, "Hey, you're leaving already? " Of course, i ignored him, with a cold look on my face, "none of your ducking business". Bringing my attention to Alex, "hey alex, someone was talking about you...",glancing at Betty. I had my own way of setting up people.

NEXT DAY

It was 8th, we were total 5 friends, me, Betty, Aaron, Seth (a guy who was friends with Aaron since day 1 of our college) and Kevin (the guy who has crush on me but is always rejected ON FACE). We decided to go to park near our College. There were 4 bottles of some organic Indian alcohol brand, of course it was Aaron who arranged that, one for each, Seth decided not to drink. I completed my bottle in one gulp. I heard Aaron and Betty shout at same time, I finished and looked at them. Arron angrily: "Are you ducking crazy?! Did you just finish that thing in one gulp?!" I blinked twice and said, "Yes? Is there a problem?" Aaron, "dude, this is just your second time to drinking alcohol and look at you..." i repeated myself, "Is there a problem?" Instead, he snatched the empty bottle from my hand and threw in the bin, still glaring at me. Kevin was laughing while looking at me, which i knew that alcohol had already kicked into his brain, I heard my inner voice went to him & aimed my kick at his balls but missed because Aaron stopped me But still hit his thigh, looking at his painful expression, i smirked.
