The alpha left and Nicolay is still standing there, looking at Dayana seriously.

Dayana: (looks at him and respectfully asks) Can I help you with something, beta?

Nicolay: Can I know why I smell my luna on you?

Dayana: (nervously replies) I don't know, beta. I haven't had contact with anyone except my friends. (as she says this, she covers her mouth in shock as she realizes that one of her friends could be the Beta's mate).

Nicolay: (impressed) Are you saying that one of them is my mate?

Dayana: It could be, Beta. That's the only thing I can think of.

Nicolay: If that's the case, we'll see if the one who will show up today is my mate; and if she isn't, since they are your friends, I ask you to help me get closer to my mate. Although I don't know if I can control myself, I have been looking for her for so long that my wolf is desperate to get closer to her and mark her.

Dayana: (surprised asks) As in, the one who will come later?

Nicolay: 🤨 I sent you a message early this morning, telling you that your friend had to show up at nine.

Dayana: What? 😱 It can't be, I haven't checked my cell phone. I'll contact her right away, I hope she has time to arrive, since there are only 30 minutes left until nine.

Dayana: Yes, Beta.

She leaves and tells her friend to go in, although she notices that she is very serious and quiet for how talkative she is. She doesn't pay attention and goes in search of the Beta to inform him about the arrival of her friend.

In the alpha's office.

Nathanael: I am in my office waiting for the arrival of the brunette that has me so intrigued and restless. Then there is a knock on the door of my office and I allow her to enter; it is Dayana to inform me that the brunette has already arrived.

Seconds after Dayana leaves, the door opens again, I turn around and I come across a chubby little woman with a very, very desirable figure, she lacks nothing, everything is in its place. She is dressed in a simple, but striking way, when I look up to look at her in the face I get lost in beautiful honey-colored eyes with the look of a feline; what my eyes saw was really an attractive and very exciting sight. Soon we saw her and both my wolf and I felt an uncontrollable desire for her.

It was something strange for us, something that we should only feel for our luna. But, there she was awakening all that in us.
