Midnight Munch
Taehyung sat up in bed. He had fallen asleep by ten, and now by four am his eyes ha dopened and stubbornly refused to close.
His roommate, Jungkook, was asleep, obviously, since he wasn't dealing with the inner turmoil Taehyung was going through.
All he had done was fall for someone.
And now he had to go against his best friend and favourite hung just to get that person's attention.
Why was that? wasn't love meant to bring people together and make them happy? Why was it then that everyday he felt safer having to fight some of his most favourite people in the world, all in the name of love?
Annoyed by himself and his thoughts, he decided to go and get some food and water.
As he walked into the kitchen, he found the lights already on.

A mumbled came from the fridge.
Taehyug went to it to find Hosek grabbing his tub of favourite ice cream and a spoon.

Taehyung rummaged through the fridge, finding some meat to fry.
He went over to the stove and began doing some rocket science with the knobs, trying to find out how to turn it on or such, nothing worked.
Hoseok sat watching, eating his ice cream and enjoying Taehyung's suffering

As they began making the food (Hoseok mostly cooking, Taehyung just assisting with water and dishes), they joked and spoke about ordinary things, just two friends having fun in the kitchen.

They both turned, eyes wide.

Don't worry. You know Jungkook sleeps like a pig, Jimin sleeps with headphones on, and Joon and Jin hyung couldn't care less as long as they're together, so I think you're good.
During this interaction, Taehyung had purposely turned his back to them by doing some thing unknown by the sink.

Yoongi didn't actually look bad for a man awake at four against his will. His hair that he had grown out was dishevelled, but in an endearing way, and he was in his pair of blue silk pyjamas that Taehyung knew he liked since his brother had gifted it to him some time back.
His pale skin was paler in the dim lights, but he didn't look bad at all
Taehyung found himself feeling self conscious. If he could wake up at this time and look flawless, of course Jimin would drop him for Yoongi. Why was he even trying at this point?
He snapped out of it when Hoseok booked his nose with a fork

Taehyung slurped at his noodles.
He knew very well that Jungkook wasn't just under pressure. in fact, things came easily to Jungkook, so he hardly had to try too hard.
He was being to rude to Yoongi out of spite and jealousy
And though he knew this, Taehyung said nothing because he knew very well he was doing similar things.
