"Honestly... I can't believe this"

I sat back in my seat on the train, Processing what was written on the digital news Report. Which took me by surprise because normally most of the news that was written was mainly for saving the environment or fighting for climate change.

"Attention citizens of Japan, we have issued a reinstatement of masks due to a toxic gas sought out by the government, everyone must remain in their homes and keep all doors and windows closed…"

I planted my face into my palm as I heard the announcement, nothing made me more irritated than me having to wear a mask...a gas mask at that. It wasn't stopping me from breathing..but it looked extremely ridiculous just having to have it attached to my face.

3045- Apocalypse -Present Day..

Well... honestly I can say for a fact that this has been the worst Few years of my life!

Ever since The government messed up the air quality on earth... we've all been stuck with filtered, clean air in our homes instead of going out. People barely have any jobs nowadays.

I don't really go out all that much due to the quarantine law that was reinstated by the Japanese government…

My name is Kumi-akado, I live alone…

I usually just watch sappy rom-coms and eat take out…

And you wonder why I haven't gained any weight…

I sometimes wonder what it would be like to actually breathe the air of the outdoors again..?

Will everything go back to how it was?

But what's the use in saving everyone if the government keeps messing stuff up…

Only time Will tell, when the citizens rebel against the government…

I had stopped thinking about setting up the rebellion since I thought there would be no way to bring back the clean air...but… Suddenly everything changed when I received a letter...

Dear Kumi Akado,

I'm writing to you in regard to the Toxic gas issue which has plagued the earth.

I'm proud to say that I finally found a solution to all of our problems...

Meet me at the Jong-un tea shop at 7pm

I put the letter down after reading it… Wondering if some things were worth fighting for…and that's when I realized…that there was.

I had a chance to help bring back clean air, and help save the environment too.

I got up from my seat and put on my gas masks.

As I arrived at the restaurant I saw someone waving to me

"Hello there!"

He shouted my name from the back of the restaurant, I already knew from that point on, things were about to get quite interesting.

I walked over to his table and sat down.

"You must be Fu-Yin?…" I asked looking over at him.

"Indeed I am" He said, Sliding the menu to me.
