He couldn't continue what he was saying as I fired the gun, and it passed just a few centimeters from his ears. I was startled by the gunshot as well. If it had made a wrong move, it would have hit him in the head. My hands were as cold as the gun.

"I'm not joking, Cooler. I may owe my life to you once, but please, I don't want to fire this gun again, so take me to Gray now," I said firmly.

He stared at me for a moment before standing up and starting to walk. "Fine, follow me then."

We left the room and went to another one. He opened the door but didn't enter. "He will kill me if he sees me. He was very angry earlier, so you go in instead."

I bit my lower lip and immediately entered. I still brought his gun with me. Once inside, I quickly searched for Gray. The room felt very familiar. It was the same room where Zeus first brought me. There were collections of balls inside the room, and I noticed a significant number of soccer balls. It was one of my reasons before for thinking that Gray is Zeus because of the balls. But I was wrong then; he wasn't Zeus, but this room truly belonged to him, the mafia heir. I saw him on the veranda, standing and looking into the distance.

"Gray!" I called out his name, and he turned to look at me. Once he confirmed it was me, he rushed towards me and embraced me tightly. "Damn, Amber! What did they do to you? Are you hurt?" he asked, concerned, while holding me close. I felt hot tears streaming down my cheeks. Is it this comforting to be embraced by him? I started weeping, so he let go and looked at me.

"Why are you crying? Did they hurt you? Damn! I will never forgive them!"

I cried even more, and I couldn't stop myself from crying.
