Chapter 4 : The Christmas Eve

After 2 months,

 Yumi and I, along with our new best friend Lisa, were walking towards the exam hall. Today was our last exam before the half-month holidays.

 Time skips

"So girls, what's your plan for the holidays?" Lisa asked.

Yumi- Nothing, my parents warned me not to go anywhere outside the House.

"So, you will just sit in your home?" I asked.

Yumi- Y/N, you know that my parents found out about Namjoon, so they strictly warned me not to talk to him or meet him.

Yes, but come to my house for the Christmas celebration," Lisa said.

Yumi - "I will try, okay? And Y/n, what's your plan?"

"Actually, my sister's engagement program is going to be held during this holiday, so I'll be busy with that," Y/n said.

Lisa - "Y/n, you have to come, please."

Y/n - "Okay, I will try. Let's go now.

Time skipped to my sister's engagement day. I was welcoming guests when I saw him.

 After two months, I saw him again.

He looked so different and charming, with his hair perfectly styled. He was so different from the first time I saw him two months ago.

He just smiled at me and walked past me.

After some time, the function started and these beautiful lovers exchanged their rings and kissed each other. Everyone was laughing at them.

"Yahh, you two, can't you wait for your wedding day?" my mom said.

Suga (my sister's fiancé) - "Aunty, let's arrange our marriage today itself. I can't wait to make her mine."

My sister was blushing, and he was just teasing her.

After the engagement, everyone started to move towards the buffet. Everyone sat to eat their food.

But I was curious about how Jungkook could be here.

But throughout the whole function, he didn't look towards me.

He had changed. His spoiled boy image had just vanished.

My sister and I were lying on the bed, talking about today's event. She was showing me photos of her fiance's friends and family members. I noticed Jungkook in some of the pictures, so I asked her, "Who is he?"

"He's Suga's cousin," she replied.

In my mind, ohh, so he is my sister's brother-in-law.

What are you thinking, Y/n? She asked.

Y/n- Nothing, Unnie.

After 4 days,

On Christmas Eve, we went to a nearby café near Lisa's home.

"Do you know I have a crush on someone?" Lisa said.

"Oh wow, who is he?"

She pointed her finger in front, and to my surprise, he was standing there.

"Jungkook," I mouthed.

He was giving cupcakes to beggars. I just smiled, looking at him.

Lisa- Is he not so handsome?

I hummed.

He just became the opposite of his true personality. I don't know how he behaves with others because I only saw him for 2 days. Then, he disappeared.

 But I can't forget how he treated me.

"So he is your crush?" I asked.

"Yes, I really want to talk to him, but I am afraid of rejection."

"Lisa, you know he is from our class." I said.

"What?!" she screamed and jumped happily.

Jungkook POV

I was talking with the café owner, but then I heard someone screaming.

I turned around to see who screamed, and my eyes widened upon seeing Y/n standing just a few feet away.

 I had prayed to God to let me see Y/n on Christmas Eve, and here she was.

Yah, why are you screaming, dumb? I scolded her, but she was not giving any attention to me. She was looking at Jungkook.

 Lisa held my hand to go towards Jungkook, but he went from there without saying anything.

But then we saw someone come and hug him, and he hugged her back. She was Sia.

I don't know why, but seeing them hugging broke my heart.

But where did Sia come from?

Because after Jungkook left college, Sia also left college.

But after two and a half months, she is back.

Are they a couple?" Lisa asked.

"No, she is his best friend," I whispered.

"But I've never seen him before," Lisa said.

I then told her everything that happened to me.

"But y/n, now he's changed. I can see it. I know he did wrong, but now he's a good person," Lisa said.

"Hmm, I know. Let's go, Lisa," y/n said.

Is y/n now falling for Jungkook?
