Ten years later...

"Jungkook!"

Jungkook gazed up, innocence in his eyes, only to be met by the stern figure of the headmaster, a stick in hand, and an expression that harbored both anger and authority. The room seemed to tense as the headmaster spoke in a harsh tone, setting the tone for an environment where discipline came with severity.

"You did the farming yesterday, right?" Jungkook stood up and put his wet soap-crammed hand behind his back, and lowered his head.

"Y-yes, master,"

"Did you do it well?" he asked.

Jungkook nodded with a low head. Then, he heard a mocking laugh.

"Hmm, show me hands," Jungkook gulped severely and forwarded his soap-dripping hands, then *hit*

The headmaster mercilessly beat his hand with a stick till his heart was satisfied. Then he told him to turn back, which he did when the master ordered a whip and whipped his back as punishment.

After sometime

It was mid-noon, and the sun was on the head; everyone was in their house due to the intense heat, and there was Jungkook, who was working on the farms again as a punishment as some teenagers hated him cause he was too beautiful and cute without even trying.

Jungkook was sweating inadequately, he try to fasten his pace, but his bare feet were burning, they never gave a pair of footwear to him, and he do all the work with bare feet, his hand were also injured as there were insects and thoron.

A few minutes later, he was done with his work; he walked toward the kitchen of the orphanage and started preparing the lunch for the people living in the building.

He lifted the big steel big and put it on the wet mud hill and put some dry leaves and branches under the pot and lit a fire in the leaves and branches; he put the oil the pot and other ingredients in it. After sometimes he stirs the curry. He turned and opened the lid of the other pots and saw the rice was boiled.

He went toward the headmaster and said to him.

"Master, food is ready,"

Then, the headmaster ordered the servants to serve the food to the children and other people, Jungkook sighed tiredly and went from there to the cattle field, and there, he scoured the pooped area and arranged new grass for cattle.

Now, he sat on a rock and thought about the he had done so far.

"Washing clothes are done,

Cleaning the silver wares is done,

Work on farms is done

Cooking is also done,

What is left?"

He thought hard for a while, and then he remembered he had to go and bring water for himself from the well, which is quite far because no one let him use the well in the village.

Then he got up from the rock and went toward his room, well can't say room because it was made of branches, leaves and bamboo; he made his room because no one was ready to share the room with him, so he made his room outside the orphanage.

Ten years later...

"Jungkook!"

Jungkook looked up and saw his headmaster of the orphanage holding a stick in his hand, standing in front of him, carrying an angry expression and saying a harsh tone.

"You did the farming yesterday, right?" In response to the headmaster's stern presence, Jungkook rose to his feet, his small frame seemingly burdened by the weight of the moment. With a wet, soap-crammed hand discreetly placed behind his back, and head lowered, he adopted a submissive posture, embodying the expected demeanor of compliance within the rigid confines of the orphanage.

"Y-yes, master,"

"Did you do it well?" he asked.

As Jungkook nodded with a lowered head, a mocking laugh pierced the air, adding a layer of cruelty to the already oppressive atmosphere. The source of the laughter remained elusive, yet its taunting presence hung in the air,

"Hmm, show me hands," Jungkook, with a severe gulp, extended his soap-dripping hands forward, bracing for what was to come. The atmosphere tightened as the impending strike hung in the air, and then, the sharp sound of impact echoed through the room. The physical hit served as a harsh punctuation, emphasizing the harsh reality of the environment where compliance was enforced through physical discipline.

In a brutal display of authority, the headmaster relentlessly beat Jungkook's hands with a stick, a relentless punishment that continued until the headmaster's satisfaction was met. The young boy endured the pain in silence. However, the ordeal was far from over as the headmaster, devoid of mercy, commanded him to turn around. Following the order, Jungkook faced a new form of punishment – the stinging lacerations of a whip against his back,

After sometime

Under the scorching mid-noon sun, with its unforgiving rays beating down, the village sought refuge in the shelter of their homes to escape the intense heat. Meanwhile, Jungkook found himself toiling away on the farms, enduring the grueling labor imposed upon him as a form of punishment. Unbeknownst to him, the cruelty extended beyond mere tasks; some teenagers harbored resentment, driven by envy towards his natural beauty and charm, making him an unwitting target of their disdain.

Sweating profusely under the relentless sun, Jungkook attempted to hasten his pace through the farm work. However, his bare feet, scorched by the heated ground, impeded his efforts. Deprived of footwear, each step brought discomfort and pain. To compound his hardship, his hands, already bearing the marks of earlier punishment, were now exposed to insects and thorns as he toiled away.

Despite the physical toll, a few minutes later, Jungkook completed his assigned farm work. Wearily, he made his way toward the orphanage's kitchen, transitioning seamlessly into the next task – preparing lunch for the inhabitants of the building.

Jungkook lifted the substantial steel pot and placed it atop a wet mud hill. Gathering dry leaves and branches underneath, he skillfully lit a fire, creating the base for his cooking. Pouring oil and various ingredients into the pot, he initiated the process of preparing the meal. As the curry simmered, he deftly stirred it, balancing the elements over the open flame.

Turning his attention to another pot, he lifted the lid and discovered perfectly boiled rice,

Approaching the headmaster, Jungkook addressed him with a measure of deference in his tone,

"Master, food is ready,"

Following the headmaster's orders, servants were directed to distribute the prepared lunch to the children and others in the orphanage. Meanwhile, Jungkook, wearied from his previous tasks, let out a tired sigh. Despite his fatigue, he diligently proceeded to the cattle field, where he undertook the less glamorous but essential duty of cleaning the area, removing the dung, and arranging fresh grass for the cattle.

Seated on a solitary rock, Jungkook took a moment to reflect on the tasks he had tirelessly carried out.

"Washing clothes are done,

Cleaning the silver wares is done,

Work on farms is done

Cooking is also done,

What is left?"

In the midst of contemplation, Jungkook's thoughts shifted to the practicalities of his daily life. A realization dawned on him, and he remembered the necessity of fetching water for himself. Aware that he was restricted from using the village well, he steeled himself for the journey to a distant source.

Rising from the rock, Jungkook made his way to what he considered his "room." Constructed from branches, leaves, and bamboo, it stood as a testament to both his solitude and resourcefulness. The choice to build his dwelling outside the orphanage revealed a poignant reality – the isolation imposed upon him by his peers.

With a simple bucket in hand, Jungkook set out on the familiar path to the well, a routine that bridged the distance between his makeshift dwelling and the communal water source.
