The new challange

Narration: Before hand Amber and Aqua fought and Aqua lost. This caused her father be mad at her now-

Aqua: I know Eevee. We can go to the Lumious city to the thunder stone mines and evolve you into a Joltion.

Eevee: Boy evboy.

Aqua claps her fist and palm and a flower grows out of her head.

Aqua: Yes that's perfect. We'll do that. (chibi)

Meanwhile.

Ember and Vulpix push a few bushed aside and walk into a path.

Sign board: Fortree City.

Ember: Wait there should've been Lumious city here. (confused)

Vulpix: Vulpix vul.

Ember: If I remember correctly.

Vulpix: Vulpix?

Ember: Fortree city is the home tooooooo...(thinking).

Vulpix: Vul.

Ember: THE GRASS TYPE GYM!!!

Vulpix: VULPIX VULPIX!!!

They stand in front of a tree and look up.

Ember: You ready Vulpix?

Vulpix: Vulpix. (excited)

She carries Vulpix in her hand and starts climbing the rope ladder leading to a tree house with her other.

They enter the tree house and notice a man standing on the other side of the room holding a pokéball.

Lodi: Welcome... to the blossom gym.

Ember: Are you the gym leader?

Lodi: Of it's not obvious. Yes. And I assume you are here to challenge me?

Ember looks at Vulpix and nods.

Ember: Hell yeah.

Lodi: Then we shall begin... with no further delay.

He threw his pokéball and a Grovyle comes out.

Grovyle: Gro grovyle.

Ember: Go vulpix.

Vulpix: Vulpix vul.

Lodi: Starting off with the type advantage, huh? Don't worry you'll need it. (confident)

Lodi: Grovyle. Leaf blade.

Grovyle dashes forward and slices Vulpix as a leafy explosion happens.

Lodi: NOW POUND!!!

Grovyle: Gro.

He does a backflip and hits Vulpix on the neck twice.

Ember: Vulpix, are you ok? (concered)

Vulpix gets back up.

Vulpix: Vulpix vul.

Suddenly her eyes start to glow blue and ice shards appear around her.

Ember: I-Ice shard? (Amazement)

She launches the shards towards Grovyle and many of them miss, but a shard hits his leg causing him to fall down.

Ember: Now. QUICK ATTACK!!!

She tackles Grovyle and hits him on the stomach.

Lodi: Razor leaf.

Suddenly hundreds of leaves surround Vulpix.

Vulpix: Vul?

Ember: Powdered snow.

Vulpix sneezes and snow particles blasts all the leaves back towards Grovyle.

Ember: QUICK ATTACK!!!

Vulpix dashes towards Grovyle and headbutts him on the head.

Ember: Quick attack again.

Lodi: Leaf blade.

Both the Pokémon charge at one another and-

*BOOM*

The shockwave was enough to shake the tree completely and as the dust settles Vulpix lies there defeated.

Ember: VULPIX!!!

She dashes towards Vulpix and picks her up.

Ember: Are you ok? (concerned)

She is unresponsive.

Ember puts her on the side and stands back up.

Lodi: Do you wish to continue the battle? If yes then take out your next Pokémon.

She throws her Pokéball and Kakuna comes out.

Kakuna: Ka. Kuna.

Lodi: Another Mon with the type advantage. Regardless, you will lose. (confident)

Lodi: Leaf blade.

Grovyle dashes towards Kakuna and slices him as a flutter of razor leaves surround them.

Ember: Kakuna string shot.

Lodi: Pound.

Grovyle: Gro.

He hits Kakuna on the back of the head causing him to fall down face first leading the string shot to miss.

Lodi: Finish it. Absorb.

Grovyle puts his hand on Kakuna's back and starts absorbing his energy.

Afterwards Grovyle starts walking away and Fist bumps Lodi before entering his pokéball.

Kakuna also returns, fainted.

Lodi: You're really a great intellectual trainer. Try using that... and you might beat me.

Few moments later.

Nurse joy: Your Pokémon are all healed. Hope you have a great journey ahead.

Ember: Thanks Nurse Joy.

She walks out of the Pokémon center holding Vulpix in her hands and notices an event going on nearby.

Ember: What's that?

They walk up to the event with Sprigatito themed decorations.

They notice a Crowd around a stage.

Ember: What's going on there?

Vulpix: Vulpix? (clueless)

They also join the crowd.

Mayor: Today is the 15th anniversary of the Sprigatito festival.

The crowd cheers.

Mayor: For some context. 15 years ago when our city was destroyed due to heavy rainfall. A pack of Sprigatitos came and helped us rebuild the city. So to honor them we have hosted a Pokémon tournament.

The crowd cheers louder.

Announcer: Now let's get started, shall we? Whoever's interested can partake there. Whoever wins this competition becomes the trainer of Crowned Sprigatito.

Some certains open up and a Sprigatito with a flower crown is revealed.

He points towards a stall.

Ember: Does that Announcer feel familiar? (curious)

Vulpix: Vulpix? Vul Vul.

She points towards the crowd.

Ember: Wait yeah. They are the same people as the ones in the cheerygrove tournament.

Few moments later.

Ember: Let's go Vulpix. Quick attack. (excited)

A Bulbasaur faints.

Next round!

Ember: Powdered snow.

A Sandshrew faints.

Ember: Quick attack.

A Nidoran faints.

Ember: Vulpix. Touch it. (disgust)

Vulpix touches a Paras causing it to faint.

Trainer1: The battle's rigged.

Trainer2: I say plot armor.

Trainer3: I'm gonna overthrow the federation to get my anger off.

Trainer4: I'm getting a restraining order againts Vulpixes.

Announcer: Now for the final round. Ember is up against... TYLER!!!

The crowd loudly erupts into cheers.

Ember: It's the boy we faught.! (shock)

Vulpix: Vulpix!

Aqua and Eevee stand infront of Lumious City and take deep breath.

Aqua: Lumious City. Here we come.

Narration: As the journey continues.
