Chapter: 18 : Centre Of Attention!!

All the cameras flashed towards her as she entered the hall with the boys. Young-Yoo who was the center of attention before she came , looked towards her . He made his way inside without anyone noticing because everyone was busy taking pictures of them . They made their way inside and the first thing they all did was take glass of champagne and took their respective seats . Jimin noticed her and dragged Yoongi towards the table .

"Hello Ms Marie . " Jimin sang .

"Hello Mr Park. " she stated .

"Oh you are The Song Marie!! Nice to meet you . " She turned around to see a pale man smiling at her with his hands forwarded for her to shake . She accepted the handshake with a smile . "Lemme introduce myself, I am Min Yoongi , the vice president of Shinesign company . " He said formally and took a seat beside her .

"You look beautiful Ms Marie but it will be more beautiful if you just take that dress out of your body . " Jimin whispered in her ear with a deep voice which gave her goosebumps, she turned towards him , his face was so close to her , a playful smirk sticked on his expression, she looked at him in his eyes . His eyes speak love and lust while her eyes speak love or revenge . Both had two different types, but both never knew how the person infront of them are . They are not aware of each other .

To be honest she loved how his eyes was kept on her. Their contact unbreakable , he was mesmerized by the shine in her eyes but something was off , although her eyes were shining but it felt lonely . They were reading each other's eyes when her overprotective and dramatic brother pulled back Jimin, to not let him get more close to her . Jimin groaned internally , he was enjoying it , it felt so good to him , for once in his life he felt like this but the moment got ruined . He looked towards Yoongi who was already looking at him and has his one eyebrow raised . He returned the same look to yoongi before sipping on his Champagne.

She blinked her eyes several time as the realisation hit her . She was confused , why would they look in each other's eyes and feel so good ?? She looked at him who was sipping his drink , she shrugged the unwanted feeling and focused on the party. 

The party was going all good and now Marie and Jimin is on the stage announcing their partnership .

"Your sister is so good looking and talented . " Yoongi said to Seokjin. Jin got the perfect person to talk with , who was none other than Yoongi.

"Yeah she got that beauty because of me , when we were young I won't let her sleep without applying a sheet mask . I also try every other skincare products on her skin before I use it . Just to find out if the product is good or not.  " Jin proudly said .

"Hmm that's a good idea . I will try it with Jimin. " Yoongi agreed .

"Jimin is your brother ??" Jin asked him .

"Nope , we are best friends since childhood but unfortunately his father got a job in Italy , so they went there but he came back to  Korea after sometime and his parents are still in Italy."

"He lived in Italy ?? Marie also lived in Italy for like 5 or 6 years . " Jin said amused .

"Yeah I heard about it . I think that's why both of them has a same style , like see either they always wear black colour clothes or anything in English colour. "

" Yes I told her to wear something like pink and white but naah she don't listen to me at all. "

"Same goes to Jimin. They both are really similar. " Yoongi remarked

"Yeah you know what your friend always hits on her . " Jin stated .

"He do ?? "

"Yes and you see this guy in light blue colour suit. " Jin said pointing at Namjoon who was just beside him . Namjoon turned towards them.

"I think his name is something like Namjoon. " Yoongi said .

"Yes Namjoon it is , he also hits on my sister. He also breaks everything he find. His hands are cursed you know . " Jin remarked. Namjoon made a done face , he regretted his decision of joining in their conversation.

"Oh man that's so sad . He lives with you ??" Yoongi added .

"Unfortunately yes . If it's not about my sister , I would have thrown him out . But my heart is so pink you know. " Jin stated before throwing a flying kiss towards Namjoon who was just sitting there questioning his own existence.

"But seriously I like your pink suit man . " Yoongi said .

"Oh really I knew I will look 100% more handsome in this suit but these people don't listen to me at all . And I also like your white suit , it suits your white and pale skin . "

"It's Yoongi magic you know . " Yoongi chimed .

"Hyung Marie and Jimin has called name for like five times now . " Jeongguk interrupted. Jin looked at him before looking at Marie , she was furious.

"You would have let her take my name ten more times so people would know how desperate she is to see my handsome face a bit more closely. " Jin said before bursting out in laughter and Yoongi joined him but Jeongguk was so done with him . Taehyung trying his best to hide his face or do anything so people won't think that he is with Jin. They both stood up and some of the photographers came a bit closer to have their photos . Jin posed showing off his handsome face and Yoongi showing off his white suit . After each step , they stop for the photographers to take their photos. Marie and Jimin was so done with them as they make a 5 min walk to a 30 min photoshoot session. Finally after clicking hundreds of photos both took the mics and said some words of how they feel so grateful to collaborate with each other and all.

After two mins of them speaking they both left the stage because for them speaking straight for two mins is alot , they dragged their feets to their respective seats and plopped down before starting their not a very necessary conversation again . Marie and Jimin covered up for their lazy behaviour. And they took their seats too .

"Seriously Jin?? You were in the stage for like two mins , you would have said something more . " She muttered in his ears .

"Naah everyone was staring at my handsome face , I don't want any evil eye on me . " Jin replied shaking his head as a no .

"You and your obsession with your face . " She snapped .

"You are just jealous , lemme talk to this man he is way more better than you all . Why don't I just invite him to live in my house , so I don't have to deal with four babies . " he said pointing at Yoongi.

"You calling me a baby ??" She said in disbelief.

"Yes you are . The only thing you do is eat , sleep and work . " Jin snapped .

"So what I have never seen a baby doing work !!" She stated .

"Agree or not you four are just annoying, useless creature . "

"That's offending. " She replied.

"That's why I said it . " He stated .

"Meanie. " She turned towards the opposite direction and he just rolled his eyes .

"Yoongi you are too lazy . " Jimin whispered in his ear .

"Yes I am and I thought you knew me for years and if you know me then it should be nothing to you . " Jimin rolled his eyes before turning to another direction. Marie and Jimin made eye contact for a sec . He smiled at her which she returned gladly .

"Ms Marie do you wanna talk alone ? " Jimin said , she nodded her head and they made their way towards a lonely place . It was a balcony , everybody was inside partying, some drinking , some eating and some couples dancing on the soft music .

"What do you wanna talk about ??" She asked resting her back on the wall . Jimin came close to her and stopped when he fully trapped her between him and the wall . " What are you doing ??" She asked feeling a bit uncomfortable yet comfortable with him. The tension between them was slowly disappearing.

"What do you think of me ??" He asked looking straight in her eyes . She chuckled before speaking.

"Don't ask such questions with me . " She replied.

"Why ??"

"Because I don't have an answer. " She said now in a serious tone .

"Neither me . " He said and moved closer to her . Their lips inches away , they can feel each other's breath on their lips. Her body was stiff , she didn't know how to react in this situation. Soon his lips were about to be pressed on hers when she realised her position and pushed him back .

"What happened ?" He asked , disappointed.

"What the fuck you are doing ??" She fumed.

"Sorry I just couldn't resist myself but trust me I  really like you Marie. " He admitted resting his hands on her shoulders .

"I--" she closed her mouth when didn't found the right words to say .

"Look in my eyes . " he demanded .

" Why would listen to your commands ? " she questioned .

"Listen I am not desperate to hear what you wanna say . But trust me and give me a chance.  You have time to think about it . " He said before leaving her there alone , she looked at him walking away.

Why does my heart is beating so fast ? What he did ? What I am gonna do ? Why am I feeling like this ? Why ??-- were her thoughts .

She walked inside the hall and went to Seokjin.

"Seokjin-ah I want to go home ." She whispered in his ears.

"See now you are acting like kid . " He replied .

"Leave that topic let's go home now . " She said dragging him out , Namjoon, Taehyung and Jeongguk saw them and followed .

"What happened?? Why are you suddenly going home ??" Taehyung interrupted when they reached the parking lot .

"I-i just don't feel right . I have a headache. " She lied . Seokjin put his one hand on her forehead to check her temperature.

"Marie why are you so hot ?? Do you have a fever ??" He asked concerned .

"No it's just the heater . " Namjoon noticed her hesitation but didn't said anything . They went home and made their way to their respective rooms . She was awake till late because her mind just can't forget that moment. First time in her life she felt helpless . She didn't want to accept the fact that she wanted his lips on her her.

" Arghh !! Why is my mind replaying the same scene ? " she said kicking the blankets out of frustration.
