Chapter Five: First Meeting

When someone approached Yuri and asked, "Madam, are you okay? Is there any member of your family you want us to call?" She was surprised; it was the first time someone had asked if she was okay after an accident.

Stumbling over her words, she replied, "Yes, I'm okay," and fell into silence. The person reassured her, "Madam, we are sorry that this happened. We want to take care of everything, just like Mr. Jae-Hun said."

She questioned him about the incident, and he explained, "Our car hit you while you were in the middle of the road. We want to cover all your expenses." Yuri reassured him, saying, "It's okay, I'm fine."

Yuri was in a fancy room with lots of lights and nice furniture, Yuri sat on the bed, surprised by the royal vibes. Suddenly, there was a knock, and when Yuri opened the door, the maid told her: Madam, breakfast is prepared, and there are clothes on the bed for you to change."

Yuri was amazed at how nice everyone was.

As she noticed a man standing near a table, she approached and gratefully said, "Mr. Jae Hun, thank you."

Laughter ensued as they corrected her, "This is not Mr. Jae Hun; this is Jae Hun's assistant."

Yuri blushed, realizing her mistake, and the assistant graciously replied, "No problem, madam. Mr. Jae Hun will be pleased to know you appreciate the arrangements. Please, enjoy your breakfast and take your time to get ready. If you need anything, feel free to ask."

They urged Yuri to take a seat, and when she asked them to join her, there was a collective surprise at her words. One of the maids gently explained, "No, miss, this table is meant for the guests. We are the maids of the house; please enjoy the food."

Yuri was taken aback to realize the grandeur of the house resembled a castle. As she scanned the surroundings, her eyes rested on a table adorned with a tempting spread of delicious food. However, the fare before her was unlike anything she had ever seen, and she ate with a newfound vigor, almost as if savoring every bite for the first time, a stark contrast to the difficulties she had faced due to her stepmother.

While enjoying her meal, Yuri spotted a remarkably handsome man entering the room. Tall and impeccably dressed in a black suit with perfect hair, he exuded an air of perfection. Yuri, caught off guard with food on her face, was left speechless as she gazed at him.

The handsome man made his way towards her, and Yuri felt her heart race, nerves setting in as their eyes met.

In his deep voice, he uttered, "Mrs. Yuri." Startled, Yuri quickly stood up, responding with a hurried "Yes." Observing her nervousness and trembling, he reassured her, saying, "It's okay, please take a seat, i wanted to ask you some questions."

She nodded, her curiosity piqued, and replied, "Sure, go ahead. I'm here to answer any questions."
