Asli woke up the next morning alone in bed, Junior's side was cold, he had certainly been awake for a long time. She got up and smiled when she saw a breakfast tray and a gift bag.

Upon opening the bag, she smiled, it was a brand new, latest generation cell phone, she grabbed her cell phone and ran to the bed, even forgetting to eat.

Upon turning it on, she saw that she already had Junior's and her sister-in-law Astrid's number.

She created social media accounts, but didn't post any photos, instead, she sent a message to Junior thanking him for the gift.

✉ Thank you, I loved the phone.

Minutes later, she received a message from him.

✉ Glad you liked it.

She found the message dry, but what did she expect? They weren't a normal couple, she wasn't going to get romantic messages.

She put the phone away in her drawer, changed clothes, and had breakfast, then took the tray to the kitchen where two women were, one cooking and the other peeling vegetables.

"Good morning, she greeted."

"Good morning, ma'am, your mother asked you to go to her room as soon as you woke up," said Monica, the one who was cooking.

"Ok. Thank you, she thanked them as she left the kitchen."

She went to the room where her mother was and upon opening the door she was horrified at her mother's state.

"Mom what happened?" Asli asked, seeing her with bruises on her neck and her forehead cut.

Sanem started to cry, and hugged her daughter.

"Your husband, he choked me, I couldn't breathe and I hit my head on the table and fell, I was careful because he's a monster," Sanem said dramatically.

"But why did he do this?" Asli asked, concerned about Sanem, because even though her mother was a tyrant, she loved her and didn't want anything bad to happen to her.

"Because he's a bad man, after we fought and you left the room," he said he was going to make your life hell, that you would regret marrying him because he loves Ares Lykaios's wife, they already had an affair,"said Sanem."

Asli's eyes widened and she ran out of the room, her heart racing, her torment and suffering would never end, her husband was in love with another woman. She felt tears wet her face, that's why he didn't even touch her. She felt like a complete idiot, thinking he could ever grow to like her.

Sanem was left laughing victoriously in the room, her daughter was so stupid and innocent, she would end any shred of joy in that house before she left, Aron would regret what he had done to her.

Junior was working in the office, he only left at lunchtime and luckily he didn't see his mother-in-law, because he would be capable of killing her.

"Where's my wife?" He asked Monica who was serving the table.

"She's locked in the room," Monica replied.

He went to the room and found her curled up on the bed, her face wet with her tears.

He didn't know what to do, he had never comforted a woman before.

"Are you okay?" He asked, approaching and sitting on the bed.

Asli looked at him with her sad eyes and he could see fear, he didn't understand what was going on.

"I'm fine," she replied, curling up further on the bed.

"Hmm, good, let's have lunch then," he said, holding out his hand.

Asli looked at his hands, but didn't take it.

"I'm not hungry," she replied, looking at him scared.

Junior got up, ran his hand through his hair, he was getting nervous, patience wasn't his forte and he wasn't understanding Asli's behavior.

"What happened, did I do something to upset you?" He asked, trying to understand what was happening.

Asli's eyes filled with tears again and she lowered her head.

"You hit my mother," she said you'd do the same to me,"Asli said, now crying."

Junior cursed under his breath, of course he had been a bastard, but he would never hit Asli, as he bitterly regretted the time he hit Astrid, it was the worst feeling of his life and he only did it because he was drunk and being pressured by his father.

He held Asli's chin and lifted her face to look at him.

"I would never hit you, I swear, I'm not perfect, but I would never have the courage to do anything to someone as innocent as you," he said, wiping her tears with his thumb.

He got caught in her sweet gaze, felt an overwhelming urge to touch her lips with his, they looked so sweet and soft.

But he couldn't do that, Asli wasn't for him, she didn't deserve a woman like her, he shook his head to clear his head of the perverted thoughts, he couldn't do to her everything he was imagining.

His dick gave signs of life and he shifted on the bed to disguise it, he got up, turning his back to her, and headed for the door.

"I'll wait for you at the table," he said, leaving the room almost at a run, leaving Asli confused and understanding nothing.

She felt her heart race at the thought that he was going to kiss her, but instead of doing so, he left the room.

She let her tears flow freely, surely he was thinking of Eleanor. I really am a fool, Asli thought.
