Nora's POV
It was entry of my 20th birthday, which was long forgotten in abyss of my broken heart...
It was my 20th birthday, unlike all these years of talking to my grandparents on trunk call, I decided to pay visit to them for the first time, who stays in faraway village of India, according to my mom, it was her birthplace and one of most beautiful village she has ever seen and I use spend my vacation with them when I young but now it's been way long and my memories are hazy... I wanted to surprise my grandparents so ... I told everyone to not inform them about my visit... And without further delay I boarded the 10hr plane to India.
I was so excited to explore each and every road and path of the village that I forget to bring guide alongwith me and whom I was entirely depend on to reach home ..." The great Google map" stopped real work and started to act like imposter... I mean i forgot this is not Oslo but India and there is no Google map and fancy smartphones yet...
There was not even single animal to ask help... I was devastated and started to curse at my so-called excitement of wanderlust. As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm golden glow upon the village, the quaint cottages nestled by the river came to life. The gentle murmur of the water created a soothing melody, and the village seemed to exhale tranquility. In the fading light, my eyes dramatically landed on a lone figure sat by the water's edge, her legs immersed in the cool embrace of the river, mirroring the hues of the sunset. It was a scene that painted serenity, where time paused, and the beauty of the moment lingered in the air.
Beneath the dappled shade of ancient willows, she sat alone by the river's edge. Her silhouette, adorned with the golden hues of the setting sun, cast a delicate reflection on the water's surface. Wisps of her hair danced in the evening breeze as she gazed into the rippling currents, lost in contemplation. The soft rustle of leaves and the distant murmur of the stream provided a serene backdrop to her solitude, creating a tableau of quiet beauty and introspection. There was only world in my mind Ethereal.... he was looking so Ethereal.... A beauty straight out of the painting...
Her eyes were a rich, warm brown, resembling the earth's embrace after a summer rain. Deep and soulful, they held a myriad of untold stories. Flecks of amber and hazel played within the velvety pools, reflecting a quiet resilience and a touch of mystery. In moments of laughter, those brown eyes sparkled like sunlight filtering through autumn leaves, casting a gentle radiance that hinted at the depths of her emotions. And that eyes...
Brown eyes held the power to drown anyone in her ... They were the most beautiful of all eyes I have come across till date...
I, too, got drowned in them, forgetting that she was only one, who could help me at the moment... when I came to my conscious it was too late ...Because my Ethereal queen has left the place and realisation hit me hard that once again i ended up with no animal to ask help... And no matter what I have find my way before it's dark , and have to reach home before my surprise turns into the worst disaster...
