At the Spa
Pamela: We have arrived for your princess day. (She says, opening the doors to the place)
Ana: Wow… (I look around in awe)
Pamela: Let's not waste time, girls! (She calls out enthusiastically)
Within seconds, the women appeared.
Pamela: Good morning, everyone, I want you to give my sister-in-law a princess day today, because she is getting married today. (She says, clapping her hands excitedly). You have until mid-afternoon to make her day amazing because, from late afternoon into the night, I have to take her to choose her dress.
Everyone agrees.
I look at Pamela, and it feels like a dream what is happening. The women lead me to a room, but first, I ask Pamela for a favor.
Ana: I know you're already doing so much for me, but I'd like to ask you a favor… (I speak somewhat shyly)
Pamela: Yes?
Ana: Could you teach me a little about how to behave in front of everyone? I don't want to embarrass myself. (I ask awkwardly)
Pamela: But of course. Before we go choose your dress, we'll do a quick training session, and then, when we have time, I'll teach you everything… what do you think?
Ana: Thank you so much… (I say, hugging her)
And I go along with the women for the treatments. I spent the most relaxing hours of my life, from massages to sauna, and so on.
Time flew by, and it was already afternoon.
Pamela: Excuse me, sis-in-law, it's time for your lesson, shall we?
Ana: Sure.
Pamela: Girls, she'll be back shortly to get her makeup and hair done.
Ana: M-makeup?
Pamela: Yes, of course, you have to look like a princess, you have to leave my brother speechless.
I blush immediately when I hear her say that.
Ana: It's just that I've never had these things… but let's start the lesson because we can't waste any time.
Pamela: That's what I like to hear.
About two hours passed, and she explained about the cutlery, how to greet people, and how to speak. I'm nervous, but I think I can manage these basic things.
Once we finished, she took me to a place where there were three dresses hanging.
Pamela: Try them all on, and choose one… (she says excitedly, sitting down)
Ana: They're beautiful… (I take the first one and go to try it on)
(First dress)
Pamela: Gorgeous, with a body like that, you can't go wrong. (She says, smiling)
Ana: You're going to make me blush. I'll try on the next one.
(Second dress)
Pamela: Wow, my brother won't be able to wait for the honeymoon like this… (she says playfully)…
Ana: Pamela… (I say with wide eyes, I had forgotten about that part).
Pamela: Relax, silly, don't have a heart attack now… otherwise, my brother will kill me. (She says, laughing) Try on the next one.
Third dress
Pamela: Wow, speechless… (she says, staring at the dress)
Ana: It really is beautiful…. (I say, looking in the mirror)
It's almost funny how this dress looks a lot like the one I dreamed of getting married in, very princess-like with a romantic touch.
Ana: This is the one. (I say, smiling)
Pamela: Excellent choice. Worthy of a princess. (She says smiling) Now, shall we do your makeup and hair?
Ana: Let's go.
We went to another room, where a team was already waiting for us. Ana got ready with me.
