Caught

The figure's expression softened, their arms opening in a gentle embrace. "Hey, it's okay, I'm here for you," they whispered, their voice warm with comfort.

Hao Yu's fake sobs intensified, his body shaking with pretended distress. The figure wrapped their arms around him, holding him close in a warm hug.

But instead of pushing them away, Hao Yu surprised the figure by hugging them back, his arms wrapping tightly around their waist. He buried his face in their chest, his tears soaking into their tunic.

The figure's eyes widened in surprise, but they held him close, stroking his hair with a gentle hand. "Shh, it's okay, you're safe now," they whispered, their voice filled with compassion.

Hao Yu's mind raced with calculation, his heart pounding with excitement. He had never planned for this, but he knew he had to roll with it. He hugged the figure tighter, his arms squeezing hard, as if seeking comfort and protection.

The figure held him close, their embrace warm and safe. And for a moment, Hao Yu felt a strange sense of security, a feeling he hadn't experienced in a long time. But he knew it was all an act, a means to an end. He had to keep up the charade, had to survive until he could find a way back home.

The figure's hands roamed Hao Yu's body, their fingers tracing his lips, ears, and neck with a gentle, hypnotized touch. It was as if they were entranced by a strange, unique scent that they had never encountered before.

Hao Yu's heart raced with a mix of fear and excitement, his mind screaming with warning signals. But he remained still, his body relaxed, as if surrendering to the figure's touch.

The figure's fingers lingered on Hao Yu's skin, their eyes glazed over with an otherworldly intensity. They seemed to be searching for something, their touch probing and exploring every inch of Hao Yu's body.

Just as their fingers brushed against Hao Yu's neck, the sound of footsteps echoed outside the cave. Akos' voice called out, "Hey, I'm back with the medicine!"

The figure's eyes snapped back into focus, their hands withdrawing from Hao Yu's body as if burned. They stepped back, their face flushed with a mix of confusion and embarrassment.

Hao Yu's eyes locked onto the figure, his mind racing with questions. What had just happened?.

Hao Yu's eyes widened in alarm as the figure stepped back, their hands withdrawing from his body. He felt a pang of panic, his mind racing with desperation.

"No...no, don't go," Hao Yu begged, his voice barely above a whisper. His words were laced with a drowsy, hoarse quality, as if he was struggling to speak.

The figure's eyes softened, their expression filled with concern. "Hey, it's okay, I'm not going anywhere," they said, their voice gentle.

But Hao Yu's body language betrayed his fear. He reached out a trembling hand, his fingers grasping for the figure's arm. His eyes welled up with tears, his face contorting in a pitiful expression.

"Don't leave me...please," Hao Yu whispered, his voice cracking with emotion. "I don't want to be alone...I need you."

The figure's face faltered, their resolve weakening. They hesitated, their eyes locked onto Hao Yu's tear-stained face. For a moment, it seemed like they might stay, might surrender to Hao Yu's pleas.

But then, they shook their head, their expression hardening. "I have to go," they said firmly, their voice devoid of emotion. "Akos is waiting."

Hao Yu's face crumpled, his body shuddering with sobs. The figure's rejection was like a blow, leaving him feeling abandoned and alone. Tears rolled down his cheeks, his eyes pleading with the figure to stay, to not leave him behind.
