Grimace

Hao Yu's body began to twitch and contort, his face screwing up in a grimace. He let out a low moan, his eyes fluttering open as he thrashed about on the stone bed. The watcher's concern grew, their eyes fixed on Hao Yu's distressed form.

"No...no...please..." Hao Yu muttered, his voice barely audible. "Don't...don't hurt me..."

The watcher took a step forward, their hand reaching out as if to comfort him. Hao Yu's eyes snapped open, his gaze locking onto the figure. For a moment, their eyes held a flicker of recognition, a glimmer of understanding.

But then, Hao Yu's expression changed, his face relaxing into a peaceful mask. He let out a soft sigh, his body going limp once more. The watcher's concern turned to confusion, their mind racing with questions.

What was Hao Yu hiding? What secrets lay behind those enigmatic eyes? And what was the truth behind his strange, disturbing behavior?

The figure's hand hesitated for a moment, then gently touched Hao Yu's forehead. Hao Yu's body remained still, his eyes closed, as if he was truly unconscious. The figure's fingers traced his eyebrows, their touch soft and cautious.

"Hey, are you okay?" the figure whispered, their voice low and urgent. "You were having a nightmare, weren't you?"

Hao Yu's body didn't respond, his face serene and peaceful. The figure's eyes narrowed, their gaze scanning his face as if searching for something.

Suddenly, their fingers brushed against Hao Yu's neck, feeling for a pulse. Hao Yu's heart raced, his mind screaming with alarm. He had to keep up the act, had to convince the figure that he was truly helpless.

The figure's touch was like a spark, igniting a fire within Hao Yu. He knew he had to be careful, had to maintain his disguise. One wrong move, and his secrets would be revealed.

Hao Yu's body remained still, but his mind was racing with anxiety. The figure's touch was too close, too invasive. He needed to distract them, to redirect their attention.

With a sudden, swift movement, Hao Yu bit down on his tongue, the pain sharp and intense. His eyes flew open, and a gasp escaped his lips. Tears sprang to his eyes, rolling down his cheeks as he whimpered in mock distress.

The figure's eyes widened in concern, their hand withdrawing from Hao Yu's neck. "Oh no, I'm so sorry! Did I hurt you?" they exclaimed, their voice soft with compassion.

Hao Yu's tears continued to flow, his body shaking with fake sobs. He knew he had to keep up the act, had to convince the figure that he was truly fragile and vulnerable. His mind raced with calculation, his heart pounding with excitement. He was walking a thin line, but he was determined to keep his secrets safe.

Haoyu wasn't sure if he should continue but a part of him screamed he shouldn't stop just yet.
