Bloody scene

A scream pierced the air, drawing the attention of Akos, Kael, and Hao Yu. They turned towards the sound, their eyes scanning the distance.

A figure emerged, stumbling towards them. It was a male, his body battered and bruised. He collapsed to the ground, groaning in pain.

Hao Yu's instincts kicked in, his eyes assessing the male's injuries. He knew he had to act fast, his mind racing with the appropriate treatment.

But then he hesitated, his eyes darting to Akos and Kael. If he helped the male, his secret would be revealed. He was a genius doctor, well versed in herbs and poison. But in this primitive world, such knowledge was dangerous, and Hao Yu knew he would be killed if his abilities were discovered.

Hao Yu's eyes widened in terror as he stumbled backwards, his face pale. He didn't say a word, his eyes fixed on the injured male as if the sight was too much for him to handle.

Akos and Kael exchanged a concerned glance, but didn't question him. They knew Hao Yu was fragile, and the sight of blood seemed to have overwhelmed him.

Erian, the priest, rushed over to attend to the injured male, his hands moving with a practiced ease. Hao Yu watched, still looking terrified, as Erian worked to stem the bleeding and dress the wound.

As the male lay injured, a figure hurried by, rushing to fetch the priest. The priest, a male named Erian, arrived swiftly, his eyes scanning the scene with a mix of concern and authority.

"Praise the Beast World God," Erian muttered, kneeling beside the injured male. "I'll do what I can to heal him."

Akos and Kael watched in awe, their respect for the priest evident. In this tribe, priests were revered, believed to possess the power to communicate with the Beast World God. They were considered closer to the divine, and their words held great weight.

As Erian tended to the injured male, a group of mysterious figures watched from a distance, their eyes fixed on Hao Yu. They lingered for a moment, then vanished into the shadows, their presence unnoticed by the others.

"Those figures...they're from the Northern Land," Kael whispered to Akos. "They must be reporting back to Thane, the tribe leader."

Akos' eyes narrowed, his gaze still fixed on Hao Yu. "I don't trust them. They're hiding something."

Erian's eyes locked onto Hao Yu, his gaze piercing. "You, female...there's something about you that's intriguing. Your eyes hold a deep sadness, and your presence is shrouded in mystery."

Hao Yu's heart still raced, but he relaxed slightly, realizing that Erian didn't know anything about his true nature. The priest's words were mere speculation, not based on any actual knowledge.

"You're not like the others," Erian continued, his voice low and hypnotic. "There's a sense of quiet strength about you, a resilience that's hard to find in this harsh world."

Akos and Kael watched with interest, but Hao Yu knew that Erian's words were just a result of his own observations, not any divine insight. The priest was not as all-powerful as the tribe made him out to be. He was just a man, with his own limitations and biases.

The scene was tense, the only sound was the injured male's groans and Erian's murmured incantations. Hao Yu's secret remained safe, hidden behind a mask of fear and vulnerability.

Hao Yu's eyes dropped, his heart heavy with guilt. He knew he had to keep his secret buried, no matter the cost.
