Hao Yu asked, "Akos, can I go out and see the surroundings?"

Akos' eyes narrowed possessively. "What's your name, anyway?" he asked, his tone demanding.

"Hao Yu," he replied, his voice firm.

Akos nodded, seeming to claim ownership of him. "Very well, Hao Yu. I'll take you out, but don't think about escaping. You're mine now."

As they stepped out, Hao Yu's eyes widened at the vast expanse of the Western Lands. He saw towering mountains, lush valleys, and a mighty river flowing through the land.

But his mind wandered back to the incident three days prior, when Akos had kissed him with fierce passion, bitten him with a primal intensity, and almost claimed him as his mate. Hao Yu's body shuddered at the memory, his heart racing with fear. He had been spared only because someone had called for Akos, interrupting the mating ritual.

Just then, a handsome male, Kael, approached Hao Yu, his eyes shining with admiration. "Greetings, beautiful one," he said, his voice smooth and charming.

Akos' eyes flashed with jealousy, his possessiveness escalating. "Hao Yu is mine," he growled, his voice low and menacing. "Stay away from him, Kael."

Hao Yu's heart raced at the sudden tension, his mind trapped in a web of

curiosity and fear.

Akos' eyes narrowed, his gaze fixed on Kael. "You're still here, in the Western Lands," he stated, his tone accusatory. "Why haven't you returned to the Eastern Side, where your kind belongs?"

Kael's smile faltered, his eyes darting to Hao Yu before returning to Akos. "I...I had business to attend to, here," he stammered, his voice lacking conviction.

Akos' eyes flashed with skepticism. "Business? Or is it something else? Something that keeps you lingering around Hao Yu?"

Kael's face flushed, his eyes dropping in a guilty gesture. "I...I merely wanted to get to know him better," he muttered, his voice barely audible.

Akos' growl was low and menacing. "You'll stay away from him, Kael. Hao Yu is mine, and I won't let anyone take him".

Akos' eyes narrowed, his voice low and possessive. "Hao Yu is mine, and I won't let anyone take him from me. He's my mate, and I'll do whatever it takes to keep him."

Kael's smile was sly, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Ah, Akos, you're so possessive. But don't forget, Hao Yu can still choose other males if he wants to. It's not like he's bound to you alone."

Akos' face darkened, his eyes flashing with anger. "What are you talking about, Kael?"

Kael shrugged, his voice nonchalant. "Well, in our tribe, females are rare and precious. They're allowed to have multiple males, and it's encouraged. But for a male to claim a female exclusively? That's unheard of. The tribe would punish you, Akos, by banishing you from the tribe."

Akos' eyes widened in shock, his face pale with rage. "You're lying," he snarled, his voice barely controlled.

Kael chuckled, his eyes glinting with mischief. "Am I? Ask Hao Yu, then. He knows the truth. He can still choose other males, and you can't stop him."

Hao Yu's heart raced, his mind trapped in a web of possessive passion and tribal customs. He knew Kael spoke the truth, but he also knew that Akos would never let him go without a fight.
