Arabella's POV

I've been engaged to Maximilian Lombardi for five years, which was arranged within our two families in secret. I love him so much and was ready to do anything for him. I tried everything to please him and to reach his standards, but everything was in vain.

My parents are not alive. They passed away in a car accident when I was 5 years old, and my brother was 10, leaving me and my elder brother alone in this world.

My father's younger brother, my uncle, adopted us and treated us like their own children. He and his wife are the sweetest people who didn't differentiate us and their own children.

My uncle has two daughters and two sons. They treat me and my brother as their own siblings. Even though we were without parents, we didn't feel ourselves as orphans due to their immense love and care. Moreover, they urged us to call them as dad and mom, but we never called them..

It was early in the morning. Arabella got out of her bed and freshened up and headed towards the dining room..

(saw Arabella)😊 Good morning Bella, come and have your breakfast.

They were running late since they have a trip today. I heard them saying that you didn't give your name for the trip. So they hurried to their college and you were in a deep sleep so they didn't even bother to call you..
