Rivals In Love:His Cruel Princess

Rivals In Love:His Cruel Princess

Chapter 1.

SUZUKI HARUTO.

"TCH, it's almost 8," I said, running out of my apartment with an unfinished toast in my mouth.

I wasn't dressed properly cause it never crossed my mind. I ran to the train station but as I was about to enter the train the doors closed.

"Why?!!" I screamed as I ran out. I saw a cab and got into it.

*Whew, finally I can relax a bit.* I thought eating the toast. I regretted it a little cause I had to pay double the bus fare.

*Crap, where can I find the principal's office.* I thought, looking around confused.

"Um, excuse me, please," I called out to a girl wearing glasses.

"Eh..." She looked confused as she looked down.

"Well, I am looking for the principal's office, I was wondering if you could direct me," I said, looking at her.

It looked like she was terrified by the way I looked at her, I looked a little too dull and grumpy every time. I raised an eyebrow, looking down at her.

"O-okay, I'll show you his office." She said, leading the way.

"Suzuki Haruto." the principal called looking away from the book he was going through.

"Sir," I answered, looking at him.

"You came late." he started. "When I say late, I don't mean for today, I mean, you didn't come to school on the day of resumption, so you missed the opening ceremony." He said as I looked away.

"Yeah, I had some problems before coming to the city," I answered as he removed his glasses.

"Midterms would commence next week, you won't be permitted to bail out, make sure you are prepared." the principal said, looking back at the book.

"Am sure I can pass the exam, I won't fail you, uncle," I said, getting up.

"Son, you might have a hard time in this school, but you have only one thing to focus on." The principal said as I nodded about to walk out of his office.

"You should dress properly before coming to school. There are strict student Council and Disciplinary committees here." He continued as I looked at the way I dressed.

"K," I replied as I buttoned the last five buttons on my shirt.

"Suzuki Haruto," I said, dropping the chalk and bowing.

"I hope we have a nice year together," I said as everyone looked at me without talking.

"Huh??" they asked, shocked after some time.

"Um, Mr. Suzuki, would you mind telling us your family business and all other important things?" the teacher asked as I looked at the rest of the class blankly.

*What should I tell them? I get what they expect, this is a school for elites so they expect a big or well-known company, well...*

"That's all, am Suzuki Haruto, a normal citizen," I said, still looking at them.

"Huh, he's just a normie, I wonder what he's doing here." someone said.

*Well, at least know that I can hear you.* I thought clenching my right fist.

"Oh, Suzuki, well, you can stay at the corner in the last row, by the window." the teacher said as I bowed slightly and walked towards my seat.

As I passed people, I felt them glaring at me. I sat beside an empty seat and looked out of the window.

"Hmm, I guess Makoto Takeshi didn't come today." The teacher said, looking at the seat beside mine before he faced the board and began teaching.

*I guess the school are just all talk, apart from the financial status of the family of the students, there's not much difference between them and other high schools.* I thought as I looked at the students who weren't listening during the lessons.

They were either sleeping or busy with their phones, and some were chatting. Only a few were listening during the class, that's too bad.

"You sent for me." I said, walking into the principal's office.

"Haru, how was the class?" He asked after I sat down.

"Well, I must say your students are not serious with their studies, they are only here cause of the money their parents possess, they are not in the least bothered about anything and..."

"Hey, wait a minute, I was asking about your first experience of the way the teachers taught not about the students, ha... seriously." the principal said, his palm on his face.

"Well, the teachers are good, they are good at teaching but can't control their students, that's too bad cause..."

"Are we back with that now? Let's forget that for now, you know, you should avoid problems now that you are here, here's not the countryside." the principal said, removing his glasses.

"Yeah, yeah," I said, standing up, ready to leave.

"Am going to get lunch, see you later," I said waving.

"Here, 1000 yen, use it to buy what you'll take for lunch." He said, holding out the cash.

"I don't need your money," I said, looking down at the money.

"I noticed you forgot your lunch, and I am pretty sure you don't have enough money to buy lunch from the school canteen." He said, placing the money on his table.

"Tch, don't rub the fact that I am poor in my face," I said, looking away.

"I asked you to come live with me, but you refused, you want to be independent. What a surprising thing to hear from you." the principal said.

"Well, just consider this as a gift and not help." He said, walking towards his window.

"I'll pay you back tomorrow," I said, grabbing the money and walking out.

*What a harsh thing to say, and I am not all that poor.* I thought, walking out.

"Goodbye, see you tomorrow." was all I heard people say to each other as they left the class. I left my books in my locker and got up to leave.

"Hey, new kid." a boy said, stopping me. He was with three other kids, and they looked irritated.

"What do you want?" I asked rudely.

"What the hell are you doing in our school, you normie?" Another asked.

*Bastards, * I thought looking away, I didn't have time for people of their kind, I had to go for my part-time job.

"I'd like to excuse myself since you have nothing important to say to me," I said about to walk out.

"Hey man, do you know who our parents are?" One asked, walking to my front.

*Probably normal people who can't teach their children anything.* I thought, looking at him.

"You are in the way," I said, pushing past him and walking away.

*This school sucks. I am just doing this for her.* I thought remembering my aunt.

"You bastard!" Another one shouted, throwing a punch at me as I grabbed his hand.

"Don't blame me for being rude," I said, throwing a punch at his face.

"Y-you!! Do you know who my father is?!"

"Don't know, don't care."
