The Last Wish

His grandmother heard his angry voice and rushed towards him. "What happened to my child? Why are you looking so anxious?"

"Grandma is it really you who ordered to fix my marriage?"

"I know you are furious right now, but please come sit with me for a while."

He was losing his mind due to anger but he couldn't avoid what his grandmother said, so he obeyed her and sat near her.

"Grandma now can you please tell me why you did this?"

"Actually dear the girl I selected for you is not just any ordinary girl. She is the girl chosen by your grandpa when you were both kids. I was trying to find her since your grandpa passed away to fulfill his last wish."

"Are you talking about that picky and annoying girl who used to come to our house with her grandfather to meet grandpa?"

"Yes, I am talking about her only. You both used to enjoy playing together now you both can enjoy your married life together."

He stood up immediately and said shouting "Playing with her, you must be joking right. We always used to fight, and then she used to cry gaining all the sympathy as if I had beaten her. Grandma it was just that Grandpa misunderstood us so let's go tell them everything and stop this marriage thing."

"What if I tell you it's my wish too. I have been ill for a long time and I have no confidence in my life before dying I want to see you getting married. I am sure your grandpa just can't go on his intuitions for marrying you. He might have seen something that nobody did. You didn't wish to make any girlfriend even after so many proposals So why are you denying marrying a girl selected by your grandparents."

"Grandma! please don't start this emotional blackmail. I don't have any girlfriend that doesn't mean I will marry anyone randomly."

As soon as he finishes his grandma starts coughing badly. He went near her and asked "Grandma! Are you okay?"

She didn't respond as she was coughing severely. He went out of the room and ordered a servant to bring lukewarm water.

"Sir, water"

"Grandma! drink this, and you will feel better"

He makes her drink water and guides her to bed, ordering her to rest. He then again begins to think about what his grandmother said to him and went to his room talking to himself.

"Last wish! What last wish she is so young why she is talking like those old ladies. I mean I can't marry her at any cost even if she is the last girl left on the earth."

He came to his room and started to think even more. His head started paining severely, his eyes became red, and he started smashing things.

"Mother! What she thinks of herself. She just gave birth to me nothing else and by that she thinks she can make my life decisions without asking me. She never thinks good for me and I will never allow her to rule over me that she wanted since my childhood. I already saw till What extent she can go for power and reputation but not again she will have to pay for what she did. I am sure she is behind all this."
