Chapter 4. Leave It To Sunny

Sunny thinks to herself “maybe I should of not have been so blunt but how else would’ve I put it? I just don’t beat around the bush.I wanna know… but I’ve messed up… oh gosh Sunny say something.. come on!” Sunny gets up and helps her mom clean up the mess as Sunny spoke soft and slowly “what I mean is… I saw it online in an article and it didn’t make much sense so I was wondering if you could make it sense for me?” Sunny counties cleaning up the mess as her mother sigh and spoke sadly “it’s something you kids where never suppose to find out till you where older, but it’s the Phillips family, your great grandfather Tyson worked with his best friend Dominic Phillips. They where both heavily into science, they loved it, except Domanic wanted to use it for his own power, they where able to create a Time Machine, and they did, your great grandfather wanted to go back in time and bring instinct animals back and study on dinosaurs fossils and learn more about them, Domanic just wanted to be powerful and steal money and crown so he could be king in this world and bring back slaves, how he was going to do that I have no idea but I have no doubt he would. So Tyson, once he found out, he burned everything and the Time Machine for the world sake along with him and domanic in the progress, well Tyson anyway, Domanic survived with sever burns, he is probably not alive today but….” Sunny finished cleaning up her mess and got new drinks and set her mom at the table “thank you for telling me, and you two come out of the corner right now!” Jenny and Gunner soon popped out as they grab a plate as they all ate silently.

They got ready and walked to school as Sunny was deep onto her phone, she crashes into a pole on the edge of the side walk as she rubs her head and slides up to brush through her curly hair and looks up at the sunset and said confedently “call me in sick I’m going to the store” Jenny quickly turned around “where coming with you!” Sunny shook her head “no your not, this will be dangerous, jail time even” Jenny shook her head back at her “We heard everything this morning, we know you Sunny, your going to get to the bottom of this and stop it, and we want to help, your not alone, and besides, who is going to stop you from going to far? As Gunner step along aside Jenny side and nodes as Sunny made a questioning face and the smirk and turned around and started walking “alright, just don’t slow me down , and I’m not going to stop them… I’m going to convince them of the truth”

They went to the store and bought a disguise, and Sunny bought really white make up, and to cover up her dark skin, with a blue wig, and different clothes from Wally world. Just a basic green and white stripe t shirt and black leggings and put in brown eye contacts Jenny and Gunner wore black wigs, Jenny wore a red t shirt and Gunner a balck, Jenny wore boot cut jeans, and Gunner basketballl shorts. Once they left, it was about two hours away, so they drove and got their by 9am, they girls got out of the car and started walking towards the car

It was a very huge building like a mall, filled with different stuff, almost looked like it just got remodel, as to what they where looking for was the Phillips book. Once into the mall and started looking, Jenny found it,as it was in a glass container, she looked around no one was near, pretty dead in the morning, and surprisingly no cameras, she took it quickly for there was no lock on the glass door.Sunny was roaming around thinking to herself “it would be cool if I could’ve go back into the past and change…” *has flashbacks of her younger self in the school cafeteria with a dark male figure coming up behind her as she shook her head as she came along the books and got the cheap one of the Phillips book, as I was about to walk and check out there was a girl about my age, maybe a little bit younger as this guy grab her arm tightly, they guy looked malicious, and the girl looked stressed. I jumped in with no hesitation and grabbed her for her and toss her behind me “are you harassing this girl?” The man spoke in defense “how dare you! Do you know who I am? Why, I am the manger of the store I can do whatever I want-“ Sunny slaps him in the face with the book as hard as she could knocking out a tooth of his “YOU DISGUSTING PIG!” The man rubs his face, as she got the girl out of the store safely, she buys the cheap book.Jenny gets into the kart and puts a blanket over her, for the alarm would go off once the exit, Gunner parked in the handy cap,I ran out as fast as I could and got jenny safely to car as they took off, as I was going to make a run for it, a cop grabs me from behind as the manger quickly came out “that’s her! She the one who assaulted me!” Sunny said in angrier “what?! He was the one harassing a young woman! Arrest him!!-“ a boy came and jump on the cop and he said “go! Go now!” I looked at him and I didn’t recognize him, I made a run for it, I was almost out to the high way, but then another cop grabbed me, took me and the boy to the back of the car as I sneaked and pulled out my phone and started to text Jenny

*a few hours ago into the past

“ok so here is the plan, Gunner, your going to drive and stay there, your going to park in the handy cap for a quicker escape, Jenny, your going to find the real book, it says here it’s 85 thousand grand, so your going to steal it, and I am going to buy a fake copy, or the cheaper one anyway, and so that way if the cops question it, I could say it’s a misunderstanding in the worst case with the recipe, but, hopefully I can eascape away from the building and take all my clothes off to a near bond fire around the bridge and burn all my clothes and evidence and you guys would pick me up and we leave this city safe and sound

Sunny thinks to her self “well… that plan has changed, I’ll think of something” she looks around and then makes eye contact with the boy and questions him “who are you and why did you try to help me?” He offers his hand in the hand cuffs for a shake “oh I’m Jack Allen! I hated this job and need an excuse to quit!” Sunny made a non amusing face expression “or just put in your two weeks….” He pulled his hand back once he notice there was no hand shake going on and shrugged his shoulders “my life is not as simple as that… what are you thinking?” As she whispers over to him as his face glows up as he leans closer to the bars “hey miss how far till we get to our destination?” The cop replied “we get their when we get their!” As he spoke flirtatiously “We could make a quick stop at your place, I have to use the restroom anyways, I would love if you gave me a tour around your room, we could lay on the bed and talk and have fun, you could leave me in these chains” he blows hot air on her ears and he plays with the bars and made the chain and bar cling together as the female cop blush, Jack counties but I muffle him out with my own thinking , “ok so the male cop went into his own cop car so it’s just her… hopefully this works “

I grab a needle Bobbie pin out of my hair, as roll the window down just a little bit, get it down at the right angle as ame it at the tire as I release, and now we wait…. After 10 minutes she realized she had a flat tire, as she got out check it out, I quickly use a force field to expand the bars and I slide through into the front seat,Jack was in disbelief, I quickly unlock my chains as I toss the key back to jack as he took it as I put the car in drive “hang on!” I took speeding off fast leaving tire marks on the road with the awful screeching noise, it took over the female cop screaming, trying my best to drive with a flat tire.I turned on the seriens quickly going through town as I pore the rest of her coffe onto the speaking settings into the car and so they would not track us.I look in the back set of the rear view mirror “you ok?” He was laying down from all the tossing and turning driving and said very joyfully “ooooooo im going to like you!”I drove into the middle of knowwhere bridge and down a little bit into the woods as they car was being beaten up, she made it to the bond fire area, but it was going to take a lot more then a bond fire now.

She gets out of car and so does he. She started gathering up sticks and weeds as Jack was just getting his balance from the drive, once he did, he did the same as her without questioning her, after 20 mintues of gathering, she looks in the car for gasoline and with luck on her side their was, she puts it all in the wood, weeds, and car, they both push the car into it as quickly start running as the explosion knocked them off there feet with Sunny landing ontop of jack, she sits up and looks at him “hoodie, give me your hoodie” as he was flustered “wha- what?” She stands up and offers her hand “I need to get out of my disguised” he took her hand and took off his hoodie and gave it to her as she twirled her finger as Jack respectfully turned around and once she was done she sat and watch the fire as he sat and watch with her, he looks over at her as his check glow red, for her beautiful curly black hair shining from the fire glow, and her red eyes reflecting off of the fire..he softly spoke “your eyes… their naturally red?” Sunny replied “yes , you have a problem? And he chuckled and said “no quit the opposite, there like a warm fire you could just stay in time forever and never want to leave because it’s so breathe taking and safe” Sunny turns her head and looks at him “you know you don’t have to do this right? Is this a joke? I mean it’s just us here you don’t have to put your flirt charm on anymore” he looked at her right back with eye contact “it’s not a joke…”
