Chapter 3. Bakers

Sunny stares at the box trying to add up to how any of this makes sense or at least why this is happening until she loses her train of thought by hearing footsteps… she thought it was just in her head but she took precaution, and started to leave, when she was getting ready to climb over the fence something grab her ankle. When she turned around nothing was there, but she could still feel the grasp of something on her, she quickly got down as she felt as if she landed on someone. She quickly ran to the firework stand, She could feel something on the back tugging at her shirt, ripping it up a bit. Once she grab the fire extinguisher she spray behind her as a body figure appeared with a knife. Sunny was starled but ready to fight and get out. The person stricks with the knife, she doudge quickly and sharp, the person unable to touch her skin but just ripping her shirt all apart, once again she did the jump up and over in the process of taking her shirt off as the invisible ability person threw the knife up quickly to try and get her, but only cutting her shirt in half, Sunny quickly puts one half of the shirt around the person’s neck and squeeze and the other half to grab and protect her hand while grabbing the knife into her hands as she takes it and points it behind her back and started questioning her to get some awsners out of all this “who are you and what do you want? Are you working for that one guy? Or with him? What do you want with me and my family?” The person spoke “you really don’t know do you? You don’t know any history of your family last name?” Sunny was confused. “What are you talking about?” The person sounded very evil. “You will know soon enough” Sunny let go and got distracted and threw her hands up in the air the that awsner “THATS WHAT EVERYONE KEEPS TELLING ME-“ the person whistles as invisible woman walks backwards fading into the dark “your going to need that knife” she said giggling. Sunny gets ready for what she has just done as I hear… dogs?… oh no! Sunny quickly runs and jumps over the fence as she can hear the dogs not to fair behind, she quickly jumps onto a dumpster and gets on a roof as she was half way there, one of the dogs bit her ankles as she kicks its head as hard as she could with the other leg, as it whined at let go. All the dogs where barking like crazy as the person of the house turned on their porch light, as all the dogs flee.

I got up and walked home the best that I could on the neighbors roofs and buildings holding onto the knife. Once I got home.

Tended to my wound, I put the knife in the a bag for evidence, I showered up and into new clothings. I tried to sleep the best I could but my mind was running, I knew I was going to regret the next day but I could not help it, after a couple of hours it was 5:30 am. I got up and made a big breakfast for my family, once they got up and around, my mom was the first one up

Zailey (her mother) grabs her a plate and thanks Sunny. “Dear this looks so good! What’s the occasion this morning?” Sunny shrugged her shoulders while getting a plate herself “oh I don’t know, just could not sleep” Sunny was about to get up and get drinks but her mother insisted. “What would you like dear?” Sunny smiled and awsners “milk is fine…. Mom… I have a question…” her mother was getting the drinks ready. “What is it dear?”Sunny was nervous but got the courage to ask. “What did the Bakers do so bad in the past?” The mother drops and breaks the glasses looking at Sunny as her mother smile fades.
