Chapter 2. Man In Black

She squeeze tighter on his shirt as he got very nervous and stop messing around “I- I don’t know!” He told the truth she sighed and let go slamming him into the floor,

she walks a away retracing her steps all the way back to the pool, she could not find it, but she counties to look a little more, a shine was in her eye all of a sudden, it was very quick, she looked around but didn’t see anything and didn’t think anything of it and eventually went to class.

She was bumped but was not going to let this bring down her day and had hope she would find it, second hour class, history, one of the most boring hours of school, Mr. Oscar has that mellow tone voice that could just put you to sleep, but in a way, amen to the popular girl that flirts with him and distracts him, as disgusting as it is, it stops him from teaching, but then again I love school and I love to learn, we just need a new history teacher. A note was soon pass to me from… Britney? She never talks to me…. I look at her funny before opening it. The note-“your really pretty and seem like a fun person want to go to the fair with me tonight?” Sunny thinks to herself “I didn’t even know a fair was tonight, im not sure if this is a good idea….” Sunny starts to write back as the bell rang she got up to hand the note back as Brianna read it and made a confused face

Second half of note-“that sounds like fun! *address to house* I hope you have room for 3 in your car!”

Lunch time rolls around, usually me and Jenny just sit with each other and try to encourage my brother, speaking of, as he is walking by with his food lunch tray as me and Jenny are already at our table

Sunny and Jenny together say “hey! Over here! Come sit with us!”

Gunner lifts one hand up and covers the side of his eye turning the other way and goes sits with the basketball team

Sunny and Jenny laughed, until we hear another laugh chimmed in too…. Brianna?

Brianna says very joyfully “good afternoon ladies! I was thinking-“ “she counties but I blocked her out, she is known for talking about herself to much and only her, just like I have anger issues she has narcissistic issues”

Jenny leans over and whispers “you think she ever stops and take a breathe and let someone else speak?” Sunny replies “nope”

time passes by as Brianna arrives at the house as me and my siblings come out to get in the car, we go to the fair and get tickets, we all love the crazy rides but Brianna just loves the simple rides…. Sunny sighs and smiles “I’ll stick with Brianna you two to have fun!” As the two ran off Sunny smile fade but then she shakes her head and grabs Brianna arm and bring back the smile “how about the circling dragons?” As the sun went down into a sunset having fun, turns out, Brianna is not as bad I thought but she was, after a break from rides and stop to share a popcorn and pop, Gunner and Jenny meet back with us to tell us about the awesome rides, I kept a smile on my face, as then a guy came behind us and grab Brianna with a knife hold against her throat as once Brianna screamed everyone panicked, running around as Jenny put Gunner behind her, I was frozen.

Sunny said to herself “move…just move… do something!!! *starts having flashbacks from her past* no… this isn’t real… I don’t have control of my body… I have to clear my mind… come on… MOVE!!!!”

Sunny turns her head slowly with terror in her eyes, she tried her best not to tremble, Chase came up behind and kicked the guy in the head knocking the knife out of his hand and landed right besides me and offers his hand to me… I shook my head “I’m not leaving here without them” Chase looked at her siblings, Brianna quickly got up and ran pass my siblings and push Gunner into the man, Brianna runs away screaming “take him not me!!!” Chase looked at Sunny has he jumped back from the look on her face, she tiltes her head up and says to Chase “get Jenny out of here” Chase does as she says as Jenny was fighting not to leave. Sunny stood up and looked at the man, his face was covered , he was all in black, your could see the muscles tone under though, he is alot stronger then me,

The man points the knife at me and then back at Gunner throat, acknowledging that if I get any closer it’s game over, I have to be smart I can’t be rational……. Sunny quickly says “what’s that?!” Pointing and quickly at it too as the Man looked she puts a force field around the knife and quickly grabs her brother as he turns back around and grasp onto Gunner as well, i kick him as the man falls down, me I hoped on my brothers back “I can’t believed that worked!” Sunny said. as he super ran towards the exist as Sunny jumped off as Gunner stopped and put his hands up in questioning “what are you doing?! This is our chance to escape?!” Sunny clamly replied “I need to know who he is, if we don’t he might keep just coming back, I have a feeling… and if I can stalk him and keep him trapped until the cops get here, I have my shields to protect me.. Gunner hugged her “ok I trust you, I’ll be waiting for you” as she shook her head “go find Jenny” as they went there separate ways, she went to go find the man. As she was searching, she heard a noise behind her. When she turned around there he was holding up the knife. She puts a force shield around her as a backfires on the man. Sunny thinks to her self “I need to get close to take off his mask”

She relases her force sheilds and starts running towards him and tries to remember what she learns in gymnastics last year. As the man stood his ground, she jumps up flipping over him putting a force field around the knife pulls his mask down as she only got so far before getting cut…

Sunny thinks to her self in shocked “he broke through it… how?… this is going to be a lot harder then I thought..” as she says out loud questioning him in a very serious tone “who are you?” The man replies “you will know me soon enough” she looks at the small cut on her arm as she was bleeding she holds it then gets back in position as he did as well, before she could take a step forward the cop sirens where coming closer he ran towards the gate, she chased after him, when he jumped over the fence she grabbed ahold of his foot as he slash the knife at her she quickly let go.. in the process of getting his shoe as she looks over to the booth to the leftand puts the shoe in a box and hides it underneath the booth,as she walks to the gate as her siblings where there and Chase, her siblings came forward and gave her a big group hug as she looked at Chase, even Chase seem to be relived Sunny was ok she released the hug and spoke “you guys go home, im talking to the cops on what happened tonight” Jenny shot back “no! Where not leaving you again! Besides you will need me, you are to blunt and simple, you are the brave sibling and I am the logic sibling, you will need me on this one” Sunny laughed “alright you got me there” she puts the cut arm behind her back before anyone can notice and questions Chase “Chase did drive a car here?” Chase nods as Sunny smiles “wonderful! Please take Gunner home” But Gunner did not liked the sounds of that and fired back “no I’m staying here with you guys! I can help talk to the cops too!-“ “Gunner!” Sunny says demandingly as Gunner sighed and started to walk with Chase as Chase turned around “do you want me to tell your parents and they come pick you guys up?” Sunny and Jenny both scream together “no!” Chase sighed “alright then I’ll come back for you guys” Sunny shook her hands with a smile “no that’s alright we will let the cops take us back home, and I appreciate everything you’ve done tonight. Thank you” Chase gave her a look and took Gunner on home. After the cops showed up, Jenny and Sunny explained what happened, after the cops took them home,

they all went to there rooms,there parents where already asleep, while Sunny took care of her wound, and after she dress up in dark colors and quietly sneaks out the window, and starts running down town back to the fair grounds,once there, she goes back where she putter the box with the shoe, as she used her flashlight on her phone once she opened it…. The necklace was in it too?….
