-I am in agreement with him actually. Your idea is good but there is only two of you and I prefer Egypt.

-Fine!! You win!

Diana stomped off angrily fixing her spectacles and banged the door behind her. Jaeden sighed and looked at his uncle intently:

-She is a nuisance, she's short tempered and not gentle and barking!!

-I think she is a genius now start working now!

Diana thought him to be some kind of awe inspiring dude but he was a pig. She remembered something her mother had taught her the day she commited suicide:

-Remember Diana never fall for a man, they are pigs and fools who do nothing. Marry a rich man who will give you a luxurious life and if he dies you stand your ground and do not let go of the wealth.

Diana had never understood what her mother had meant. She thought her mother to be miserable. How could a woman teach her child such things, how on Earth?!

She sat down on the library bench and took out 5-6 senior high history books only about Egypt. She started reading. It had begun to rain again and it was slashing against the closed windows. She read:

Egypt was situated in South Africa. The most important life source there was the river Nile.......

Diana felt herself drifting into another world..completely different from her own. She read the old Egyptian queens got the custody of their children if unhappy with her husband...Would not it had been great if..if she could have lived with her mum forever.

-Hey!

-Yeah

Diana broke out from her day dreams. It was Jaeden looking at her annoyed.

-There are better times to day dream you know.

- Who says I am day dreaming? I am done reading from this book. What have you done till now?

-I have found the decoys of the oldest maps of Egypt and the ones that include Hatsheput and Karnak vividly.

-Great job.

They worked very hard and went on working till it was almost evening and the librarian had come to close it. Jaeden's face was cold and had hardened. They went out together. A car was standing outside for Jaeden and Theo was in it.

-You want a lift ? Its cold and dark and you are all alone.

-I would certainly like it but my house is not very far from here. I will walk.

-You sure ?

-Yeah well um..see you tomorrow

-Yeah bye then...

Diana started walking towards her house which was on Little Sterling street. The place had a British look about it. Something inside her was burning, her heart maybe...she smiled to herself and went on walking. At somewhere in her neighbourhood she heard her favourite song by Taylor Swift. She hummed it "my last request it is, say you'll remember me...."
