Professor Rhea: Come on men, I can smell they went this way.

As they go, they don't notice a team of werewolf hunters on their trail.

Manuel(leader of team c of the werewolf hunters): (in a low voice) it seems our lead was correct. Let's follow them.

BACK IN THE BARRIER

Jake: Grandpa!! Grandpa!! Where are you.

Chloe: Jake, I don't think he is in.

Grandpa: (coming out of nowhere) can you stop shouting, I'm just an old man.

Jake: Sorry Grandpa.

Grandpa: It's ok. (hugs him) I missed you son.

Suddenly notices Chloe

Grandpa:Why don't you introduce this beautiful young miss to me over some tea?

They sit down for tea

Chloe: it's very nice to meet you sir, my name is Chloe, and I am a friend of Jake's.

Grandpa: Now now, there's no need for that. Call me Grandpa.

Chloe: Ok Grandpa.

Grandpa: That's much better. You come from the city right?? Long ago we werewolves all lived together in the same kingdom (sighs) sadly those days are over. Now, here only resides some elders and three orphaned pups.

Chloe: You mean Laura, Ian and Layla? But how?

Jake: Laura and Layla are twins and their parents died shortly after they were born from poisoning. No one knows who did it and their family had many enemies. While Ian is their cousin not long after Laura and Layla's parents died his parents delivered him and the twins here when he was two, then shortly after that they went missing.

Chloe: (feeling down) that's awful.

Grandpa: But that was a long time ago, and we cannot change the past.

Jake: (hugging her) I know those kids think about it from time to time, but they never really let it affect them negatively. What I am trying to say is they grew up here happily, and I would know, because I also grew up here with them until I had to go away for high school. We may have all been orphans here but Grandpa and the other elders took care of us, and eventually we became family.

Chloe: (feeling better) Wait you grew up here too??

Jake: Yes and I promise to tell you about it later, but now I think Grandpa has something to tell us.

(talking to Grandpa) you have been sending letters asking for my return, but you don't normally do that, so is there anything important happening recently.

Grandpa: Ah yes. Have you ever heard of werewolf hunters?

Chloe: Werewolf hunters??

Grandpa: yes.

Chloe: But I thought over this century humans forgot about the existence of werewolves.

Grandpa: Yes, all but one. They call him the masked one. He is the leader of the werewolf Hunters organization. All humans forgot about the existence of werewolves except him, and over time he gathered people that followed him. I don't know how he did it or why he wants to start this war again, but we must prevent it.

Chloe: Grandpa this masked one you speak of, why does he want to hurt werewolves.

Grandpa: I don't know my child, but we must stop in at all costs, because this man has immense power behind him.

Jake: What can we do to help Grandpa??

Grandpa: Oh no son you cannot do anything to help until you turn 18 and unleash the full power of your wolf.

Chloe: What do you mean by the full power of your wolf.

BACK ON THE ROAD

Rhea: Is this a barrier?? (she tries to touch it, but her hand goes through) Let's go.

After they enter

One of the werewolf hunters: (tries to touch it, but it shocks him) how do we get in now boss.

Manuel: I have heard of this before, this is the legendary barrier, fortunately I have a device just for this. (he places a tiny chip on the barrier and then the barrier disappears) Well come on what are you waiting for.

All: Yes boss!!

Immediately they walk in Professor Rhea perceives the scent of humans.

Professor Rhea: (shocked) Who are you, I thought that barrier was supposed to keep humans away.

Manuel: Well would you look at this boys, the dog is surprised.

Professor Rhea: ATTACK!!

The wolves transform and they start fighting the werewolf hunters who have been well trained.

BACK IN GRANDPA'S HUT

Grandpa: Well you see my child, A normal wolf already possesses super strength and amazing speed, but if you are one of the 12 Alphas then you get a special power to control like fire, earth, it can be basically anything.

Chloe: And Jake is one of these 12 Alphas.

Grandpa: yes.

Grandpa: Now about the werewolf hunters,I have some information that I would like you to deliver to your principal about them.

Jake: Ok Grandpa I am all ears.

Ian suddenly bursts in

Ian: Grandpa!! Grandpa!! There are humans fighting some werewolves. I don't know how they got in the barrier but...

Grandpa rushes out as he leaves he shouts

Grandpa: Jake gather the elders and you kids get to safety.

Jake: (he pulls Chloe and Ian) Come on I will get you to safety.

Jake: (As they run) By the way, where are Layla and Laura??

Ian: I told them to go to the riverside and hide somewhere there, that I would be right back.

Jake: Then let's go there
