To STEM? Or not to STEM?

Rain falls as the sun still shines above Earth. if it were in some countries, the children would say that a lioness is giving birth at this time.

But for me it's not the same; I have been stuck with this demon all day, and I've got to know more about him...or her.

The demon was indeed loquatious, no doubt about that, it never shut up for a minute, and it was starting to get on my nerves!

My mother had returned from work, and my two sisters were back from school, I was stuck in the same day it came out of the box.

"kid come on, work with me here! The sooner you help me, the sooner I'll get out of your hair. I know you are already tired with me, and I am already tired of this place, but if you help me, it would be a win win situation for me and you. You understand kid?"

It went on and on and on and on, asking me to help it!

I don't even know what it wants my help for, and I am not about to give it to em... his deal does seem tempting though.

I was called over to the dinning room where meatloaf and fried eggs were served...it was a normal combination in the house. For a moment I was afraid to go down stairs, for I knew that that demon would want to follow me there, but I braced my self as I walked down the stairs, the demon in tow.

I pulled out a seat and sat down with a 'thud'.

looked at me, I looked at her intently hoping to see a change in her expression, but there was nothing, her face remained the same. am I the only one that can see STEM? I turned to the left, praying to God that my other sister Baily would atleast be shocked, but my prayers fell on rocks as her face was just the same. Her bland questioning face looked at me also.

And I confirmed that I was the only one who could see the Demon, because my mother served us with a smile, but I was frowning.

This was going to be a looooong week.

But at this moment, I had already resigned myself to helping the demon. That is STEM to be.

He kept nagging at me, urging me, but I could not reply him, my family would think that I've gone crazy, talking to myself, and I don't want that. I turned my head to face it, and nodded. when STEM saw this he immediately shut up, and sat down at the empty seat beside my mother. It was my father's seat, not like he was ever going to use it.

Eating my food, I kept staring at STEM, alot of questions on my mind that I would like to ask him. and the one I'll start with is his place of origin....and if it was male or female, if demons had genders that is. It talked to me, and sometimes I confused the demon like-whatever for my mother talking, they had the same voice after all.

It was an awkward afternoon to say the least.
