7:30 am

I woke up with a start. I picked up my phone and answered

the call “Hello…Sirah talking”

“Hello, Sirah. It Pierre haven’t forgotten about today

right?”

“Today? What happened to today?” There was a brief silence

and I gasped “Oh My God!... I’ll be there in 10mins hold on” I immediately

rushed to the bathroom and took a quick bath, wore my clothes and grabbed my

coat then brushed my hair and tied it up with a scarf. I wore my boots and

joined Pierre outside.

“You’re late”

“Sorry about that. I forgot about today”

“It’s okay. Let's go” we got into his car and he drove for

about 30mins and it was so silent so I decide to start a convo.

“Well we’ve been on the road for 30mins wanna have a convo

and besides where we going?”

“Wanna take you to one of my favorite places”

“Alright…so what do you do?”

He took a glance at me and then said “I’m kind of like a

model and content creator”

“Wow that’s cool. Well I work for my Dad but I plan on quitting

and start my own career.”

“Career?”

“Yeah. I’m into Fashion designing and came to Paris to

accept my second offer” I said and grinned

“Which brand do you work for?”

“Belle” I said “So how old are you?”

“35”

“Wow tf… you look like you just in your early 20s” I looked

at him in amusement “You a Vampire or what?”

He chuckled “No I’m not”

“Well I’m 28…guess you’re older” I said, and I definitely like

that. We arrived at the Eiffel tower and I just sighed

“Here we are” He said with a proud smile on his face as he

looked up

“That’s it…?”

“What do you mean ‘that’s it’?”

“Nothing Magical as in movies…Ha!” I rolled eyes

“Why does this feel like Deja Vu” He grumbled in French with

a long face

“What’s up with the long face Pielle”

“Pi-erre…nothing”

“Jeez can I just call you Pie it won’t hurt to shorten your name”

“No. no one’s shortened my name before”

“Well great I’ll be the first. Come on take me to where I could

have some Croissants”

“You could pronounce that one so properly why can’t you get

mine right?” he said as he walked away. I sighed and followed him. We took a

short walk and got to a restaurant “Two croissants and a cup of Iced Americano…?”

“Expresso”

“Expresso…”

“Okay Monsieur” I stared outside the glass. The shop had a

very nice view of the Eiffel Tower interesting…I felt my phone ring and I picked

it up

“Hello Kai. It’s rare to see you face-timing me. What’s up?”

“Wait you at the Eiffel Tower?”

“Yeah, wanna see?”

“Yes Please” I faced my phone toward the Eiffel Tower and I could

hear his gasp of amusement “So beautiful”

“Enough of that Kai…any lead?”

“Yeah, found a suitable company whose ready to work with us

and launch the brand. But you have to be present for it. You can’t be absent or

even have a Zoom call, they said they needed you physically present for the

completion of the contract”

 “Do they have to be so

troublesome geez. Anyways thank you, Kai, I’mma reward you when I get there”

“Nice one boss…Enjoy your limited time in Paris”

“haha so funny”

“And don’t go putting all your cards on the table and stay

ou…” I hanged up

“He nags a lot”

“That’s the kind of expression I needed when I showed you

the Eiffel Tower”

“yh I don’t get impressed so easily except if it's food or

wine” I paused “Speaking of which would you like t join me for a glass at home?”

 He twitched his lips “Sure

I’ll be glad to join you”
