Kenji’s Past – The Truth Comes Out
Kenji didn’t talk about his past.
Not to anyone.
Because it was ugly.
Because it was painful.
Because it was not something he wanted Alexier to know.
But the kid wasn’t letting this go.
And maybe…
Maybe Kenji was tired of running.
So he spoke.
Told Alexier everything.
Told him about the orphanage.
The fire.
The gang that had cornered him.
The torture.
The humiliation.
The unspeakable things they did to him.
And how—when he thought it couldn’t get worse—he was sold.
Like an object.
Like he wasn’t even human.
To that man.
The man from the bar.
The one who had smiled at him like an old friend.
Kenji’s voice was flat. Emotionless.
But Alexier could see the truth.
Could see how deep the wounds went.
And for the first time…
He didn’t know what to say.
---
Alexier’s Response
Alexier wasn’t good with words.
Never had been.
But right now—Kenji didn’t need words.
He needed something else.
Alexier let out a slow breath.
Then—without thinking—he reached forward.
Placed a hand on Kenji’s shoulder.
Kenji stiffened.
Alexier didn’t move.
Didn’t say anything.
Just stayed there.
Solid. Steady. Unmoving.
Kenji exhaled.
A long, shaky breath.
Then—slowly—he let go of Alexier’s wrist.
Stepped back.
Shoved his hands in his pockets.
“...You’re a pain in the ass, kid.”
Alexier smirked. “I try.”
Kenji shook his head.
And for the first time in days…
He felt like he could breathe.
Even if just for a moment.
Memories of Another Time
Alexier sat on the edge of the hotel balcony, staring down at the quiet city below.
The neon lights flickered.
The world kept moving.
But inside his head—he was somewhere else.
Someone else.
He hadn’t thought about it in years.
Had forced himself to forget.
But now, as he watched Kenji—his sarcastic arrogance cracked with exhaustion—he couldn’t ignore it.
He reminded Alex of someone.
Someone important.
Someone he lost.
His uncle.
The one person who had always watched his back after his father’s death.
The one who had taught him how to stay alive in a world that wanted him dead.
The one who had been taken from him in the most brutal way possible.
Alexier’s fingers tightened into fists.
That was the last time he had let his guard down.
The last time he had trusted someone completely.
And now, here he was—doing it again.
With Kenji.
With someone who was just as broken.
And it scared him.
Because if history repeated itself…
He knew how this would end.
---
A Dangerous Move
Kenji was fast asleep—for once.
Alexier knew this was his only chance.
He grabbed his jacket, slipped out the door, and disappeared into the night.
He knew what he had to do.
Find that bastard.
End this.
He wouldn’t let Kenji live in fear.
Wouldn’t let that man crawl back into his life like a disease.
This time, Alexier would finish it.

The Predator Watches
The old man sat in the back of a dimly lit club, a cigarette resting between his fingers.
He watched the entrance.
Watched him walk in.
Alexier.
Young. Fresh.
Naïve enough to think he could handle a world he didn’t understand.
The man smirked.
He knew that look.
Knew that fire in his eyes.
Just like Kenji had, all those years ago.
And just like Kenji—this boy would be broken.
Piece by piece.
Until there was nothing left.
He took a slow drag from his cigarette.
This was going to be fun.
---
The Trap Is Set
Alexier didn’t hesitate.
He walked straight to the VIP section, eyes locked onto the man.
“You,” he said.
The old man smirked. “Me?”
“I know what you did to Kenji.”
Silence.
The man exhaled a puff of smoke. “And?”
Alexier’s fists clenched. “You’re going to stay the hell away from him.”
The man chuckled.
“Brave little thing, aren’t you?”
He leaned forward, resting his elbows on the table.
“But you don’t understand how this works, do you?”
His grin widened.
“You don’t get to walk into my world and tell me what to do.”
Alexier didn’t flinch. “Try me.”
The man laughed.
Then—without warning—his men moved.
Two of them grabbed Alexier’s arms.
A third slammed a fist into his stomach.
Alexier gasped.
The air ripped from his lungs.
The old man sighed.
“Kids these days. Always so reckless.”
He stood, walking towards Alexier slowly.
“Kenji was the same, you know.”
He reached out, gripping Alexier’s chin.
Forced him to look up.
“Do you know how beautiful he looked when he finally broke?”
Alexier saw red.
His knee shot up, smashing into the man’s ribs.
The old man staggered back.
The guards reacted immediately—slamming Alexier against the wall.
He struggled.
Fought.
But there were too many hands.
Too much weight pressing him down.
He realized, too late—
He had made a mistake.
The man recovered, rolling his shoulders with a smirk.
“I like you,” he murmured.
“Almost a shame I have to ruin you.”
His fingers brushed over Alexier’s collarbone.
His smirk widened.
“Almost.”
Alexier jerked away.
Snarled.
“Touch me, and I’ll kill you.”
The man grinned.
And then—
A gunshot rang through the room.
---
Kenji Arrives – And He’s Pissed
The guards froze.
The old man’s smirk vanished.
Alexier looked towards the entrance—panting.
And there—standing in the doorway—was Kenji.
A gun in his hand.
A blade in the other.
And a look in his eyes that was deadly.
Kenji didn’t move.
Didn’t blink.
His voice was calm.
Too calm.
“Let. Him. Go.”
Silence.
The old man sighed.
“Kenji.”
He smiled.
“It’s been a long time.”
Kenji cocked the gun.
“Not long enough.”
The man chuckled. “Still as dramatic as ever.”
Kenji took a slow step forward.
“You’re going to let Alex go.”
His finger rested on the trigger.
“Or I’ll put a bullet through your skull.”
The man’s smirk returned.
“Now, now,” he said, raising his hands.
“No need for violence.”
Kenji’s grip tightened.
His hands shook.
Alexier noticed.
Because Kenji wasn’t scared.
He was furious.
And underneath that fury—
He was terrified.
Not for himself.
For Alexier.
Kenji took another step.
“You hurt him,” he said softly, “and I’ll tear you apart.”
The room was silent.
For a moment—just a moment—Alexier saw something in the old man’s eyes.
Amusement.
Then he laughed.
“You haven’t changed at all, Kenji.”
He signaled to his men.
“Let the boy go.”
The guards obeyed—immediately.
Alexier stumbled forward.
Kenji was there in seconds.
He grabbed Alexier’s arm.
Held him up.
Checked him—eyes sharp, scanning for injuries.
Alexier smirked. “Took you long enough.”
Kenji’s grip tightened.
He didn’t say anything.
Didn’t let go.
The old man smiled.
“This isn’t over.”
Kenji’s jaw clenched.
“I know.”
And with that—he dragged Alexier out.
