CHAPTER 3:MISUNDERSTOOD

In a dimly lit room, two figures could be seen sitting facing each other. One could say there was a very great tension between them.

The room was really spacious,at least too spacious for an ordinary person. The thick dark curtains were drawn down to avoid the rays of the sun. A king size mattress was placed in the middle of the room.

Just from the decoration of the room,one could easily tell the owner was a gamer. His pillows were made of game characters , his bed spread and even the pictures in his room.

Ranrn felt the room was hot all of a sudden. She could not bring her gaze to look at Sijue since he stared so intensely at her.

'Was he prying into her soul?' she thought

How were they even going to live together in the same room. To be frank with herself, her sleeping posture was really bad. Not to mention her heavy snores that could wake the dead. So embarrassing.

Looking at her anxious but cute reactions made a devilish smirk suddenly appear on his side lips.

Sigh!

He folded his arms together as he lifted his right leg and placed it on the other.

"Mmm..." he cleared his throat to get her attention to him.

Just as she heard him clear his throat, she couldn't help but raise her head to look at him.

There she goes, her body was betraying her again. Her cat-like eyes couldn't help but also stare right into his eyes.

Why was she so weird? That was not how she acted towards him when they were children. He thought. The idea of her maybe acting cute towards him made him smile but it was not a smile.

"Ranran, don't overthink things. I let you stay in my room because my dad was present. But... don't worry I'll get you out of this room as soon as I can." he said but this time, he sounde cold nor gentle. It was quite complicated.

What? He didn't like her in his room? She should be happy right? But she felt heartbroken. Her face gave away her brokenhearted emotion.

Did she get him wrong? That's not what he meant.He thought when he saw her looking so down.

For some odd and unkwon reasons, he did not liked to be misunderstood.

"Look here I don't mean that I hate you or I don't want you in my room. It's just that Ranran, you know how your sleeping posture is and the way you snore...almost louder than a pi..." he stopped midway.

She gave him a look to show that she was still waiting for him to continue. Seeing him hesitate, she gave up.

To her surprise, a smile had unconsciously formed on her innocent face making her look more heavenly.

At least he remembered some of their memories and that alone was okay for her. Though the memory was quite embarrassing, it didn't matter.

Just as she was lost in thoughts, she heard him say"Also...stop trying to act cute. It really freaks me out" He added before he left her sight.

What the...? Did he really see through her? The fact that she wasn't the type to act cute was understood but she don't know why, her body and mind cooperated to betray her the moment she saw him at the airport.

"That iceberg...he ...he...Uhhh!"

...Inside the bathroom...

After taking a tour in the room later, she found out that Aunt Mo had already arranged her clothes in the wardrobe. She was the sweetest ever.

She stood under the shower as the water washed her body clean. After that, she headed towards the mirror .Staring at her perfect and curvy figure made her smile.God really loved her .She was completely irresistible. Her gaze drifted back to the towel rack and found that there was only a pair.

She can't use them. What if they were already used by Sijue

Oh, Good, God ! What was she going to do?

Just then the door to the bathroom abruptly opened and Sijue was the next person she saw."Ahhhhh!...." she screamed as she covered her sensitive areas with her hands.

Sijue didn't have time to react as he quickly shut the door. He stood outside the door with his heart beating wilder. The same went for the angel inside.
