Lost souls episode five: Fragile

"I feel uneasy, as if something is going to go wrong. Why do I feel it all of a sudden?" Rue confessed with concern and worry in his voice as Izana looked at him with concern. "You saw someone the other day when you fell down into the fountain, right? Did he look like he wanted to kill someone?" Izana asked with a dark expression plastered on his face. "Yes. He did. Look, I'm not judging him for being pissed off, maybe the leader was his dad? That bastard had to die, one way or another." Rue confessed with anguish laced in his voice. At least we are at our destination and not lost. "Here we are, the fountain is glowing at its glory, don't screw this up." Rue confessed sternly as he descended into the fountain into the past with Izana following him. The portal soon opened and Rue jumped through it with Izana clinging onto him. "We're here, I never thought that I'd see this tired town again. Is someone waiting for us or are we going to be ambushed? Because I'm ready to consume." Rue confessed with cockiness and snark laced in his voice as Izana blushed at Rue's words. "We're waiting for one person who we will follow to our destination. We shouldn't threaten the guy, I heard rumors that he's very dangerous." Izana confessed truthfully and with slight fear laced in his voice.

"I'm here. And I know you... Did you miss me, Rue?" The being confessed sweetly as he embraced the disgusted male. Rue couldn't believe his very own eyes... Shadow was here embracing him as if he didn't commit a crime. "Izana, don't come near me or touch me. That goes to you as well pervert." Rue confessed sternly and with disgust laced in his voice. Piece of advice: don't trust anyone who acts lovey-dovey with you. "I'm literally on the verge of losing my mind right now, how freaking could you? Do you seriously think that I'll let this pathetic waste of space be our guide? Definite no! I'm so pissed off right now, I'm doing this on my own!" Rue exclaimed angrily with red eyes and stormed off leaving Izana looking down with guilt and Shadow with shock and sadness, he fell hard for Rue the moment they met. "This was a huge mistake... I think I lost my Rue. He's the love of my life…." Izana confessed sadly with tears forming in his eyes. "He's mine, Izana. He's a hard person to crack, what did you really expect? For him to drop onto his knees and smother you with love?" Shadow exclaimed with obsession and a crazed expression on his face that sent chills to Izana. Gosh... What a yandere. Izana thought with disgust.

"You came back after that encounter we've had. Why did you even come back?" The being asked with a raised brow. "My ex brought someone who I despise to the core, I feel betrayed and violent." Rue confessed sternly and with a deadly aura around him as the being stared deeply at Rue with a new glint in his eyes. Obsession. "I'm glad that you killed my hideous father, Rue. But you also made a mistake coming here... I'm going to claim you and mark you as mine. And you'll never ever escape from my clutches." The being confessed sweetly with drool coming out of his mouth. Rue felt terrified for the very first time, He despised love and made an oath to never fall in love. "Back away! You hear me?! Back away!" Rue exclaimed angrily at the being as his wings appeared behind him. "For your information my name is Rev. So stop being so stubborn and come to me." Rev confessed eerily with his eyes showing obsession. Rue descended up into the sky and flew as fast as his wings could take him, his breathing became ragged as if he was about to hyperventilate. "Oh, crap!" Rue exclaimed in shock as his body crashed onto a giant mushroom causing him to pass out from the fumes.

"That impact has definitely knocked him out, but he looks so weak. So fragile." Shadow murmured eerily as his fingers stroked Rue's curls. "Rev, you're never take what's mine, not in this life. Pathetic Schizophrenia bastard." Shadow hissed angrily at the thought and cradles Rue closer to his body, his red ruby eyes staring down at him with adoration. Rue was shaking inside at the position he was in, how did things escalate to this? One thing for sure is that he's done trusting people, and the second thing is that he's going to talk to Darkness about all of this. "Hi sweetheart..." Rue murmured sweetly as his fist collided into Shadow's face causing him to clutch his face as the pain increased. "Now you listen to me, you sick bastard, I don't belong to anyone. Not you, not Rev, not even Izana. You can both drown and die..." Rue confessed sternly with a deadly aura surrounding him causing Shadow to pee himself. "And one last thing... Stay away from Emma and Kim, I protect them alongside with their father from abominations like yourself. So consider this as you're final warning..." Rue murmured curtly and went through a portal back into the future.
