Lost souls episode three: Darkness...

This chapter contains fluff, angst, and drama.

Rue was staring at Darkness with a mixture of confusion and annoyance. Darkness took in a deep breath and exhaled, "Rue, I understand that you look pissed off right now but... What I'm about to say is important." Darkness confessed nervously. Rue tilted his head and looked deeply at Darkness. "Then tell me." Rue murmured curtly. "I'm crazy about you, Rue! The way you look after my kids... I love you!" Darkness exclaimed excitedly with red hues on his cheeks. Rue gaped at Darkness with utter shock and anxiety, this was not bound to happen! "Darkness... I honestly don't even know what to say to you but are you on drugs? I'm not ready to commit myself to somebody! I literally had an obsessed freak who happens to be Shadow, and now I befriended somebody to sees himself as a high and mighty king of Japan! I can't do this right now..." Rue exclaimed angrily as he stormed out of the house with a dangerous aura around him.

With Izana~

"You're telling me that someone destroyed your bike? And that your desperate for a new one?" Izana asked with amusement. The teen frantically nods his head with wide eyes. "Yes please! I can take very good care of it, boss." The teen exclaimed with desperation laced in his voice. "You're naive. Money doesn't grow on trees, didn't your parents ever tell you that?" Izana remarked smartly at the young man in front of him who flinched. "They did... I'm sorry Izana. I won't cause trouble again!" The teen exclaimed apologetic and with anxiety laced in his voice. Izana nodded his head slowly in acceptance and left the young boy, Izana felt lonely for an odd reason. He wondered where Rue could be right now as he was flustered by his appearance. "That man does things to me without even realizing it. He's mine." Izana confessed greedily with his purple eyes twinkling.

With Rue~

I was following the fireflies that were tugging on my long hair strands leading me to a fountain that was glowing. I knew what they wanted me do here, they were taking me back to the afterlife, something must be going on there. "You want me to fall into the fountain now?" Rue asked the fireflies which they frantically flew around Rue with excitement. "Okay..." Rue murmured as he turned around, and his four eyes rolled to the back of his head as his body went limp and fell into the fountain. A menacing figure watched the action and looked down at the fountain seeing nobody in particular. "Mph." The figure grumbled and left. Rue hastily opened his eyes and stood up as a voice was heard behind him. "Ara? What is a thing like you doing around here?" The person asked rudely which Rue ignored. "None of you're damn business. I go where I want, and I talk to whom I want." Rue remarked with cockiness that he did not regret using. The stranger rolled his eyes and crossed his arms arrogantly, he wasn't planning on leaving anytime soon. "Well good luck to whatever you're trying to accomplish, goodbye." Rue saluted as he went deeper into the city he saw the aggressive leader not so long ago.

With Izana~

"What do you mean that you can't track Rue?! He couldn't have disappeared into thin air you moron!" Izana exclaimed angrily as his fists were clenched. "I'm sorry! Maybe he went out of the city? To see a relative or something?" The detective exclaimed nervously and gulp at the deadly aura surrounding him. "Your completely useless! Scram!!" Izana exclaimed angrily while watching the detective run away in fear. "What is happening to me?" Izana murmured to himself as he looked down sadly.

With Darkness~

I can't believe I messed up my friendship with Rue, and by confessing my true inner feelings to him! I'm a literal imbecile. "I'm back." A familiar voice remarked from the living room. "Rue? Is that you?!" Darkness exclaimed with shock and anxiety. "Yes it's me. I was needed somewhere and did something bad. I killed the leader who messed everything up in the afterlife. I don't regret what I've done." Rue confessed sternly with his eyes sharp. "I don't recall you ever telling me about him? And I want to apologize about earlier..." Darkness confessed sadly with desperation shown in his irises. Rue stared deeply at Darkness with hesitation and doubt, this was becoming to complicated to deal with, and Izana... "I love you too, but as a friend. You still need to tell me about the mother of your kids. I'll always be with you." Rue confessed warmly with fondness laced in his voice. Before Darkness could speak, Rue vanished into thin leaving Darkness in a daze.

Rue found himself at Izana's hideout where he had something to do there. "Knock!" Rue exclaimed as he banged his fists against the door loudly as he heard complaints from the inside. "Are you crazy?!" Izana exclaimed angrily, but then it disappeared once his orchard eyes landed on Rue. "Where on earth were you?..." Izana asked sadly as he embraced Rue with his strong yet lean arms. Rue heard sobs and looked down at the sobbing boy with compassion. "I love you too." Rue confessed happily with a closed eye smile. Izana gasped in shock and eternal joy graced him like an embrace, "I love you forever!!!" Izana exclaimed with joy and love laced in his voice.

~Izana finally has the love of his life in his embrace, but somebody wants trouble and fast. Next chapter will show Izana's backstory and how he knew Rue.
