FIRST DAY AT WORK (I)

YURI'S POV

After the introductions, I bowed and thanked them, I also told them that I'm looking forward to working with them. Yoon Nari showed me an empty desk which I can use. I went to the desk and I begin to arrange my things, settling down and getting comfortable with the chair. I brought out the forms, the nurse earlier gave me and began to fill them as I was filling the last details, I heard the door opened and heard a familiar voice telling us to assemble at Professor Kim's office entrance so that we can do the ward round,keeping the forms in my bag which I was already done filling. I hurriedly stand up to obey the instructions I heard only for me to see the guy I bumped into earlier, he smiled at me as he said to me " Let me introduce my self properly I'm Kang mi jun, I'm in my fourth year residency and I'm also the chief resident doctor " holding out his hand for a hand shake as he introduced himself, I bowed and reached out my hand and shook his hand as I introduced myself too. After that he faced everybody and told us to hurry up if we don't want professor Kim to scold us all. We all rushed out, and went towards Professor Kim's office, as we got there, Kang Mi Jun knocked on the door and professor Kim told him to come in, he went in and told him that we are all outside ready for him, the door opened and both Kang Mi Jun and Professor Kim came out and he locked his office before we moved towards the direction which I learnt to be the way to the patients' wards. As we entered the first ward we moved from bed to bed as Professor Kim checked up on the patients, some were patients recovering from surgical operations while some were admitted to prepare them for their operations, Kang Mi Jun also was clerking the patients giving out the information about the patients to the Professor Kim, later too Park hye mi, Baek so jun and Kim Do hyun too gave out information about the patients they were in charge of to Professor Kim. We left the first ward and entered the second ward,in this ward patients who were admitted so that they can prepare them for their operations (surgery) were more than the first ward, we moved around a bit when professor Kim Suddenly looked behind him and our eyes made contact, scaredly I bowed slightly and he told me to step forward, by now l can literally hear my heart beat audibly even without using a stethoscope, I stepped forward then he asked me to check the monitor that is beside the patient's bed which contain the details and medical chart history of the patient whose bed we stopped at, he told me to check the patient's Echocardiogram (ECG) and MRI scan (Magnetic resonance Imaging scan) and to interpret what I observed in the results.
