Chapter 1: That hateful guy!

"How can this happen? How did I end up in my killer's hands again? Am I too stupid or just unlucky? This boy who is carrying me in his arms is the one who killed me a few days ago! I think he's no more than ten years old but shoots the bow wonderfully. Well done young man, you just killed an innocent soul. I want to punch his face, to wipe that ridiculous smile off but this body is too tiny to carry such a great action. Probably I have to wait a few more years to be able to do this."

While the fox makes plans for the future, the young Su Jianci carries her up the mountain to meet her new master. He finally succeeds to climb the last stairs of the road and reaches the upper level where his taoist school is.

Quickly the boy runs with the baby in his arms to meet his teacher who is impatiently waiting in a corner of his study room.

"Master, I'm back with the child! Look at her, isn't she adorable?".....asks Su Jianci.

The master takes the baby girl into his arms and gazes at her for a while before to reply back to his disciple: "Yes, she's very lively! I believe you two will get along well in the future so I leave her in your care. You must take good care of Su Qin from now on."

"Su Qin? Master this is my junior sister's name?"...curious asks the young boy.

"Yes."....replies his master.

"But how can you guess if that's her name or not?"...continues Jianci.

"I can't guess it but this name is written on the small bell from her hand, so I assume that Su Qin is her original name. I don't think we should give her a different name, look how happy she is when I call her by that name. As if she wants to tell me that that one is her name."

"Then I will also call my junior sister by that name even though I wanted to give her one myself. I'm just a bit disappointed that I can't do it anymore."...keeps complaining the boy.

"Take the girl to your place and look over her, I'm too busy to babysit a child right now. I hope you can understand me and sincerely carry this task."

"I understand master! I will not let you down, I will take good care of my little sister from now on."...Promising this, Jianci takes the baby from his master's arms and runs from his teacher's study room straight to his own den.

Jinanci is a bit different than the others disciples from the sect. He is his master's favourite apprentice and so he allows him many things that the others aren't allowed to do. One of these things is that he lives separately from the other disciples of this sect and has his own small cottage built into a massive old tree. His master separated him from the others because of his crazy behaviour and odd habits.They all know that this boy is a great genius despite his young age and no one can stop him from going wild with his experiments, not even his teacher, so he needs his own space to practice his alchemy skills. This is the reason why his master allowed him to live in a secluded area of the mount's plateau behind the school settlement.

In this way, his prominent young disciple can practice and polish his martial arts and alchemy skills without creating too much chaos around and hurting the others. Jianci is actually a master of chaos when his experiments get out of control, no one will escape unscathed. All the others sect disciples, although they respect his ingenuity, are somewhere wary of him and try to avoid as much as possible.

The young boy, even though he looks happy, is actually taken by surprise by his master's decision of letting him to take care of his junior sister because he thinks that his master believes that he is an irresponsible person and everyone else sees him as a troublemaker.

Would he be able to take care of a little baby when he's no more than a child himself?

Who knows, no one can guess that, only the future can tell us.
