Prince charming in a reverse world: The beginning of the end

Far across the distance and over the edge of the endless horizon laid the gateway between world's.

Prince Damian Charming unmounted from his house and after drinking water from a bottle and stretching himself he brought out a ragged map from the saddlebag of his horse and scanned through it.

This was the forty ninth day of his quest(longest) to save yet another princess _longest because all others barely lasted a week for him as he arrived late when the princess was at her breaking point before doing his work, yes that was his curse.

Well, wonder why I said it's a curse.

There was always a princess somewhere needing to be saved from something ridiculous.

Save Cinderella from her stepmother, save snow-white from an evil witch who is also her step mother, save Aurora from a dragon who might be her step mother or even help Fiona escape from the castle she had been trapped in all her life and it's heavily guarded, not by her stepmother this time but a Dragon.[no offense to all the step mother's out there 🙇🏼‍♂️]

He wiped the sweat off his forehead and whipped his hair back and forth (😂) before he calmed down and continue scanning through his map.

It was all just ridiculous, he was just a young man and wanted to live a life that was different from the storyline for once. something that stood out and didn't follow the normal cliche.

And that was when a chance came finally...

50 days earlier.

A new quest came in, someone shouted.

A knight fully covered in steel battle gear pranced into the castle raising a scroll with the seal of the Official Enchanter of the Kingdom.

This person, not the knight but the Enchanter, was someone who used nature's magic. And nature's magic was most sensitive to damsels in distress.

So whenever a damsel was in distress the Enchanter received this information first before processing the information in a letter and a map to be delivered to prince charming.

Prince Damian Charming reviewed the contents of the letter for a while before his eyes widened and the fruit wine he was drinking escape from his mouth and nose (possibly the eye too, not so sure as I wasn't very close to him that moment 🤭). And then he flipped the table in front of him.

(ﾉ≧∇≦)ﾉ ﾐ ┻━┻

He got up and rushed inside to prepare for the quest and a day later he left heading towards the desert in the east.

The Quest was just the one the prince had been craving for, the details of the quest stated that the quest was outwardly and he would face beings he had never faced before. And most importantly there was no save the princess that had been so common that he felt like it was a watermark.

And...

Back to the present.

Current location: Edge of the world

The past forty nine days, he had crossed through the Scorching fiery desert, survived the venomous desert, endured the temperature of the frozen desert and even conquered some of the mythical beasts of dark desert.

He was tired, but nevertheless satisfied. On the map he was holding, He could vaguely see details such as the Kingdom, The four deserts of trials and finally the gate to the other world.

But weirdly just beyond the gate to the other world, the only thing he saw was a place two times the distance of his journey so far, there was a waterfall with the red ink mark X.

He immediately understood that his goal was to get there while experiencing surprising trials on the way there.

And so he mounted his horse again and they slowly trotted forward and passed through a dimensional warp.

And slowly the Majestic king of the sky Sunk leaving behind an orange sky for a while until it got very far and everywhere finally experienced darkness in it's own beauty and Glory.
