Mrs.Kim
Joonie this is Yoongi.
Namjoon sits down on the couch right beside her.
He nods politely to the man in front of him and bows to the woman besides him, whom he assumes as Yoongi's mother.
He was quite surprised when his mom told him whom they are meeting today.
He knew he was going to marry someone on account to his parents but he didn't knew the person his parents selected will be his ex-bestfriend.
It's been 15 years since he last saw Yoongi.
He doesn't even know if the male remembers him or not.
However, he didn't question it and went accordingly.
Mrs.Kim
We have already decided your wedding dates, all you need to do is clear your schedule for the week.
Namjoon nods, trying hard not to be awkward.
Mrs.Kim
Do you wanna talk to each other?
He glanced at Yoongi permission and the male looked very awkward and uncomfortable.
Yoongi closes his knees tightly, as if keeping himself from squirming.
Kim Namjoon
Is that okay for you Yoongi?
Their gazes met for the split of second before Yoongi looks down on to his lap, nodding.
Namjoon moves out of the couch, Namjoon following behind him quietly.
Once they reach the balcony, Namjoon stands close to the wall and Yoongi further away, keeping more distance than needed.
He started awkwardly, not knowing what to say.
Min Yoongi
I don't want to get married..
Yoongi suddenly says, his voice small.
Namjoon didn't get offended, infact he feel the same way.
He is not ready to marry yet.
Namjoon is hopeless romantic person, where in his head imagined his lover to meet in a library or art gallery he goes sometimes but reality hit him hard.
Kim Namjoon
Neither, do I.
Yoongi sighs, his hands clutching the black railing tightly.
Namjoon expects him to say something more but when he stays quiet, he takes the initiative of starting the real conversation.
Kim Namjoon
Why did you agree?
Yoongi stares at him, confused which makes Namjoon panic a little.
Kim Namjoon
To marry me, I mean.
Min Yoongi
My parents wishes me to marry you.
Min Yoongi
I've never denied their wishes.
Namjoon feels him on spiritual level.
He have never denied his parents either.
Yoongi picks the skin beside his thumb nail not knowing how to form words to tell Namjoon that he just can't oppose is parents for anything.
Kim Namjoon
Is there any reason you don't want to marry me?
Min Yoongi
That's not what I am saying.
Min Yoongi
I don't want to get married in general, not that I don't want to marry you.
Namjoon lets out a revealing breath.
It would have sucked if there was an another reason.
Kim Namjoon
My dad wants me to have good reputation.
Kim Namjoon
I'm gonna be the Ceo of our company.
Kim Namjoon

He thinks people will think highly of me and make me look like mature adult rather than just young adult.
Min Yoongi
I know this is weird..but I am agreeing this because of money.
He sighed, a little hesitant.
Min Yoongi
Our company is verge of going bankrupt.
Min Yoongi
If that happens..uh.. they won't allow me to continue my work as a producer..
Namjoon hums sympathetically.
Their situation are so different, yet so similar.
Yoongi is same boat as him.
His soft voice gets Yoongi's attention.
Yoongi stares at him with unreadable expression.
Kim Namjoon
I'm willing to try.
Namjoon smiles, his soft dimples peaking out if his tan cheeks.
It's not a wide grin or anything but it assures Namjoon that it's not going to be bad.
Kim Namjoon
I'm an adopted child.
Namjoon blurts out making Yoongi's mouth apart from surprise.
The male cleared his throat before starting to speak again.
Kim Namjoon
My parents probably didn't told you about this but since you are going to be my husband you have right to know such facts about my life.
Kim Namjoon
I don't know if you are gonna judge me or anything—
Yoongi lightly touches his arm, stopping the male to speak any more.
Namjoon's cheeks burn with embarrassment, after realizing that he just started to ramble.
That was very unprofessional of him.
Min Yoongi
There's nothing wrong being adopted.
Min Yoongi
I won't judge you.
Min Yoongi
I'm literally gay.
Namjoon cracks a genuine smile and chuckled on the joke.
He has expected to be more formal around each other but this easied his mind and heart to relax a bit.
He gets proven wrong when the awkwardness starts to take over once again.
Min Yoongi
I think I should get going.
