I was being careful not to get caught but they still found us due to the argument. Although Leona was acting stubborn but I still had to keep her safe because she was in this situation because of me. Leona was standing there like a statue as if she didn't care about being caught by them. I had to help her somehow.

" Run!!! Leona.... Go now!! I'll try to stop them, you run away as fast as you can. Now!!"

The only way to ensure her safe escape was to stall some time, so I thought of going against the kidnappers even if it was just like walking into the lion's den. I was so desperate at that time, but then I heard a laughter.

I was lost in thoughts then I heard Leona say.

I couldn't believe what I had heard. That kidnapper just now called Leona his master. I could never even think about her being involved in anything bad let alone kidnapping someone.

I shook my head as if to shake off the ridiculous thoughts. Leona saw me spacing out and said.

" Don't you think that it's rude to ignore me when I'm talking? Shall we increase the punishment?"

" Yes, of course. "(the kidnapper)

I was so foolish to trust such a friend and end up this way. But I can't seem to be able to hurt her. There was a little regret. The kidnapper came to me to carry out the order given. He gave a sinister smile and reached out his hand to hold me.

" You bastard...!!! Stay away from my Ari.!!!"

It was a familiar voice that assured me that it will be alright.
