Chapter 3 New beginning

Sorry everyone I forgot to put up a new chapter on Friday. So am back again, well this time around Jack will be the side character and our lovely Layla will be the main character for this chapter, am so excited to see what goes on in her head. How does she view Jack , well if she asks for my opinion I will share it. Jack got no business sense, he is lazy but his life now is a big contrast to how he lived before, so I won't hold it against him. Sorry guys am here rambling, while everyone wants Layla. See you at the end of the chapter.

Layla POV :

Everyone I met always maltreated, beat and constantly got me in trouble. My mum hated me, because on the day of my birth, my father lost his job and committed suicide later that day because of the number of debts he has on his head. My mum was left with a huge debt to pay. Later on when I grew up my mum would beat me up telling me I was the cause of everything that happened to her. Later on I became used to the beating until eventually my mum sold me to pay off the debt. On the day they carried me away I beg my mother to allow me stay with her, I told her I would follow her and work off the debt, but she didn't even look my way, for the first I felt as if I had no mother. So I sucked up my tears, and I was put to work as a drug peddler. I was sent to different areas I didn't even know, but I pushed on until finally the police raided the drug warehouse. I ran away immediately I noticed the police and I didn't stop until I reached an alley. I was so tired, but Not only that, but I noticed someone approaching me and just started running again but when I looked back I saw the person was running after me. I knew this route very well, so I took lots of turns, later on I couldn't run anymore. So I stopped, but I noticed the person was still at my back and resigned to my date of being captured. Unexpectedly the person offered me something to eat, and I devoured everything. I later found out his name was Jake. He looked like a mad person. I was surprised when he took me to a house and told me this is where we will be living, my first impression of him was that he was a gangster, but I later found out, he was just like me. He was looking for what to live for. And he unexpectedly chose to live for me. It is the first time in my life that someone has shown me that type of love before and I felt so happy. Well he does look nice when he takes a bath and cuts his hair. Well he told me and going to be starting school I am so happy cause I have never gone to school before. Am so excited to get started. Hey everyone welcome back. I can't believe Layla went through all of this. Why is the world so cruel. I hope Jake takes care of Layla properly cause that girl deserves it. Until the next chapter everyone.
