Alesha simply stomped hard as some kind of black fire engulfed the demon, burning him to ashes. Ritter has also managed to finish off the huge demon and other small ones. She really never imagined that they would be attacked like this. Laurie also arrives alongside Alesha.
"My lady, I have brought everyone in the mansion to safety."
"Well done Laurie, let the guards take care of the rest."
Laurie walks away to gather the guards and carry out Alesha's order. While she goes near Ritter.
"Apparently, it was me or you, they wanted one of us dead," Alesha mentions to him.
"What? That's strange, lycans have not been at odds with them. Perhaps it's because they know I'm close to you." is the only thing that occurs to him.
"Perhaps..."
Although for Alesha it is still strange, the Escalante have nothing that demons need or anything that makes them dangerous against them.
