The party continued as usual. After the dance, both went to have a drink while being surrounded by other nobles. Ritter asks them to approach with caution, but as soon as they advance, an explosion on the road hits the carriage, causing it to shake and end up overturning.
While the guards are attacked by bandits. Immediately the bandit leader orders to check the carriage.

The bandits approach the carriage, which was upside down, but before they can get any closer, a great cracking is heard accompanied by a ferocious growl, the wood and wheels of the carriage fly out and from the hole that has formed in the carriage, a ferocious beast with silver fur peeks out, showing its sharp claws and huge canines.
"A LYCAN!" shouts one of the bandits.
Everyone steps back as the beast emerges from the carriage, growling at them. Everyone seemed scared and it was huge.
"I-it can't be... I've never seen one so giant..."
"Get away... it's an alpha..." orders the leader.
Immediately the bandits rush away, but few can reach their horses, as the huge beast reaches them, tearing their bodies with its claws, practically splitting their bodies in half. The bandits who managed to escape rush their horses to get away, but the lycan was faster, so it managed to tear their bodies apart.
While the guards help Alesha out of the carriage, although she had a blow to her forehead that was bleeding. Alesha watches the entire massacre from where she is. Although she knew Ritter was a lycan, she didn't think she would ever see him in person in his transformation.
The field was now a massacre site, bodies everywhere and the lycan's claws covered in blood. Alesha walks towards the beast, stopping when she is in front of him. Upon seeing her, Ritter bends down, resting his hands on the floor to be at the young woman's height. Alesha holds his face in her hands, gently stroking his cheeks.

Ritter gradually loses his transformation until he returns to his human form, so Alesha moves her hands away, although Ritter holds them by the wrists.

"You should get dressed," replies Alesha.
Ritter grabs her by the waist, quickly pulling her body against his. One of the guards approaches to hand him a long frock coat. Ritter releases Alesha to put on the frock coat, while another carriage arrives after an hour so they can return. Although the mystery remains as to who sent them, because this can't just be a coincidence.
"Could it be the same one from the restaurant?"
"No, it's different, those were humans, if it were that subject, it would have been lesser demons," replies Alesha.
"I won't rest until I know who it is," assures Ritter.
That attack could have killed Alesha if he hadn't protected her during the overturn, Alesha could have been seriously injured.
Two days later, a man flees through the forest, he seemed desperate, he was all dirty and wounded, as he advanced a little further, he finally saw the border between that world and the demonic country, but when he was about to cross the barrier, an arrow manages to hit him in the leg and he falls to the ground, still he crawls, but someone stops before him, the man looks up and it was Ritter, who maintains a serious expression.
"Looks like you're in such a hurry..."
"Forgive me... please... I promise I won't try anything against that young lady, I swear..." he pleads.
"Don't worry, she forgave you... but that doesn't mean you'll get out alive."
The man's head rolls to Ritter's feet as the latter cuts it off with his sword, although he grimaces in disgust as he sees the blood stain his shoe.
He orders the body to be burned, he has already disposed of that demon's brother, now it remains to be seen who ordered the attack on his carriage, since apparently, the target was clearly Alesha.
"You didn't leave any alive, it's more difficult that way," complains Marius.
"I know you'll find a clue without them," Ritter replies.
He knows Marius well, he knows his good skills, that's why he has him as his right-hand man.
