S1 Chapt 6 - Noodles?

Virl picked me up and gently placed her hand on my back to console me for what just happened, I just lay in her arms. "Tyler you safe now. I promise" She said squeezing me tightly, desperately trying to make sure no one took me from her grasp.

The others weren't at the North building. Bristol decided to take everyone out as quickly as possible just in case something went wrong. "That smart son of a gun," said Jeremy looking towards the group as they were at the entrance of the forest.

Immediately I started crying, The overall shock got to me and though I tried to control it, it was clear that I was in distress. Virl looked toward me worried about my condition and Jeremy wasted no time and led everyone into the forest.

"What happened-?" Coco said trying to make sure the kids were not listening to the conversation.

"We made it just in time but all we saw was him on top of her..that damn pervert," Jeremy muttered an aggressive comment that I could only assume that I probably did not want to hear it.

Raymond started to walk behind the others with Naru in his hands and he stood by my side the entire walk.

As we made it to a safe space the adults went into a corner to talk and left the children alone.

Immediately Cora jumped onto me crying uncontrollably and Jaxon,River and Timothy did the same after. "AHHHH!!!" I screamed as they crushed my from their affection, "No touching!!"

I screamed and they all backed off.

"Sorry...We were just happy you were okay-" Said River holding his arm in embarrassment.

I felt bad for pushing them away. I could never know what they felt when I was gone. So I held out my hands towards them. River and Jaxon looked at me confused but Cora did not hesitate to embrace me again only she didn't squeeze my organs this time as her warms spread around my chest and I couldn't help but feel comfortable in her arms. The Boys then slowly joined and it became a hug fest after a few minutes, Even honey gave me a pat on the head-? I guess that was her way of a hug.

We all broke the embrace and started to talk about the recent events that occurred..I told them everything..I mean not everything. I haven't told them about what happened at the cliff. I don't want to remember my past. The whole point of me telling Jeremy I had no name was to start a new life that didn't involve me hiding. But I guess that's not possible with my appearance. I never understood what Toto whispered in my ears.

"You are the mistake of the gods above."

Was that one of those GenZ insults when your called an adopted child? Hmm..Don't know. I'm sure I'll understand in the future.

Honey,River and Ray went off to play with each other while me,Jax and Cora went on a walk within the forest.

"Tyler. I'm sorry." Said Jax with his head held down low.

"Why?" I ask putting my hand on his shoulder.

"I was supposed to protect you and I failed...when we were running I only cared about myself and didn't think about you. The one who Jeremy told me to look after."

"It wasn't your fault. Think of it this way, if you had stayed then Toto would of gotten me too and you would of went through the shit then I went through. I'm glad you ran Jaxon because.."

"Because?" He asked tilting his head.

I slowly grabbed his hand and put it on my chest. "You are my friend. And you're important to me.." I turn to Cora and grab her hand as well. "Both of you are."

Cora started to tremble, from fear? Or maybe from shock? I literally had no idea what she was thinking but she wouldn't let go of my hand after that. And as for Jax...

"TYLER-RAY CONFESSED TO ME!"

"What's a confession?" I asked

"...."

"...?"

"Tyler-Ray is an illiterate twat.."

"What?"

"Your dyslexic."

"Oh...what's that-?"

Yea so...he never told me what that meant.

As we continued walking we came across a small stream going down the valley and into a cave. Cora and Jaxon quickly ran towards it and started drinking from the stream as I sat in solitude.

I am....Free.. I have found great friends and maybe even made a family. Virl acts like a mom most of the time with me and Jeremy is the same. I guess he's my Man-Mom. Yea that's it.

...°> The sound of a soft purr starts to get closer to Tyler >°...

"Hmm...Jaxon shut the **** up. I don't want to hear about your cat impressions."

"Tyler..."

"What?."

"Open your eyes and slowly look to your right."

"What so you can jumpscare me?"

"No so you can see I'm not near you."

I opened my eyes and look to the right of me seeing a Havana brown kitten with grey eyes and a pixie Bobbed tail rubbing itself onto Tyler-Rays shirt.

"Tyler you made a friend!...T-Tyler?" Cora walked up to me and started laughing as she saw the tears of fear running down my face.

"GET THE MONSTER OFF ME!!" I shouted desperately trying to scoot away from him but he just kept on moving closer and closer towards me.

Jaxon stopped me from moving any further and knelt down. "That's a cat...or a kitten in this case! A rare one too. It won't hurt you...maybe-!" Cora pushed him to tell him to knock it off so he quickly apologised and lent his hand out to the cat to sniff.

"Coco said not to pet cats or dogs without letting them know about your scent first so you have to put you have out and let the come to you!"

The Kitten slowly walked up to Jaxon and started to sniff his hand before rubbing its head on his hand. "Tyler come on you try it!" I lend my hand out towards the kitten and he immediately plopped himself onto me and started purring. I took it a step further and slowly started touching his fur and scratching his head.

"Who would of thought Tyler was a Cat person." Said Jax

"Me. Literally me. I won the bet so pass the Chocolate coins." Jax scoffed as he handed a bag of chocolate coins from his pocket.

"How come I didn't get any?" I asked.

"Cause you never asked."

"What are you gonna name him" Cora asked petting him. I thought for a moment before smiling. "Noodles!"

"Noodles-?" She said disappointed about my choice.

Jax laughed at me falling to the ground, "Noodles!?! Seriously!?!?" BAHAHAHA"

"Why Noodles?" Cora looked at me intrigued with my choice.

Noodles. The one thing I learnt about from Walter. He wasn't a bad person he just didn't have a good environment so I wanted to be able to remember him though I didn't tell them that. Instead I said..

"Cause when u fling him around he looks like a small noodle."

"Right. I guess he does" Jax said petting me on the head like I was the damn cat.

Shortly after we heard Virl shout for us for dinner. "Guess it's time for the others to see you're new pet!"

"Yea!" I said holding Noodles in my arms but her suddenly went into my shirt and popped out my neck hole.

"What a weird cat." I said as we all headed back to camp.

Virl went into her tent after a long day. They found Tyler and were able to get out with no major issues. As she sat down on her bed she felt many hairs.

As she looked to see what it was she saw brown hair all over her bed.

"TYLER I'M GOING TO KILL THAT CAT!"

Note to self: Virl is not an animal person.
