S1 Chapt 3.5 - Scared

Drip.

Drip

The constant sound of the leaking roof gave me chills down my spine, it gave me anticipation to see what will happen now. I sit in a cell with my arms chained to the wall and my arms covered in bruises, there was a small tray in the bars of the cell presumably for food and there was no way out.

As I started to struggle out my chains I heard footsteps coming my way,making me want to get out even faster.

With force,I pull my hand away from the chains before I heard a crack. "ARGH-!" Uncontrollable tears rolled down my face as I freed my disfigured hand from its restraints with a cost.

"Escaping won't help you." Said the figure on the otherside of the bars. "Who are you.." I asked placing my broken hand onto my chest.

"A new friend for you. But..you already know my name" the figure stepped out of the shadows revealing himself.

"What..."

"Yep! It's me Toko and I know your infected. So how about you and me have a lovely chat...alone."

<><><><><> Jeremy & Jaxon <><><><><>

Jeremy has been out the forest with everyone searching for Tyler. No one has found any leads and surprisingly Virl was falling to pieces when hearing about Tyler and was the first to run out to find her.

"Jeremy!" Shouted virl looking towards him, "what?" He asked wanting to go back to searching for anything to find Tyler.

She pointed below them at the floor revealing a small patch of blood and big footsteps leading north. "Those aren't hers..."

"Exactly." She said crossing her arms

"We have a new friend on our hands."

Cora was with Honey panicked, "What do you think happened!?"

"She's Probably dead." Said honey crossing her arms

"She's not dead!" Raymond walked towards them with Naru in his hands crying. For some Ironic reason he only cried when Tyler-Ray didn't come back.

Cora walked towards him and put her hands up to him, "Can I hold him?"

He was hesitant but nodded eventually,giving him to her slowly.

They all began to look at Virl and Jeremy talking.

Raymond held his breath as Virl walked over to them. "We found footsteps..and blood embedded in the dirt, we think someone was here with her but we don't know who, all we know is that it leads us north."

He gave a sigh before looking towards them, "Do you know where the footprints end?"

"No" She said, "But let's find out" He nodded as the all began following the trail to find her...

<><><><><> Tyler-Ray's POV <><><><><>

"What do you want with me?" I ask pushing myself to the wall behind me, desperately trying to make distance between us.

"Many things..Good and bad but the most I want to know is how your alive."

"My hearts beating."

"You know what I meant kid." He rushed towards me grabbing my freed but broken hand and twisted it to reveal the bite marks, "ARGGH! STO-" I couldn't finish my plea as my hand was in horrible pain and I screamed at the top of my lungs, endless tears running down my eyes and his body weight preventing me from moving.

"That. The bite on this little arm. How did you survive it?" He started to squeeze harder to get my answer.

"I don't know.."

"Don't lie to me kid. You could help so many people if you just tell the truth."

"I don't know..."

"Kid..one more chance How...THE **** .. DID YOU SURVIVE!"

"I DONT ******* KNOW!" He twisted my hand anticlockwise with great strength.

SNAP.

"ARGH! NO- NO! UGH.." my screams of agony filled the room as he only continued with pulling my arm.

Another figure came from behind him. "Sir.. uhm there is a riot at the front gate apparently there's a group consisting of 6 kids and 3 adults, 1 is injured." Toto turned around and gave a small sigh before getting off of me and standing up. He looked to the man beside him, "Treat her wounds if she doesn't want to co-operate then do whatever you want."

A wicked smile spread across his face. "Gladly sir."

The man looked at my disfigured hand and waited for Toto to leave. When he did he ripped his shirt and made a arm rest out of it.

"Are you okay?"

"What...?"

"Are you okay? Do you not speak English? I know German so.."

"No I speak English but.. I thought you were gonna hurt me..."

"I won't for now atleast, but Toto will if you don't give him anwsers. So can you tell me please?" I look at him for a moment trying to find anything that would reveal his ill intentions but I saw nothing but a genuine man who tried to help me.

"I don't know." I said truthfully. "No one knows. But i am one of them."

"So you are infected? Maybe your just evolved?"

"Evolved? Whats that?" I ask intrigued

He had a smile on his face as he sat down infront of me, " evolved is the past tense for evolution and evolution is the process by which different kinds of living things are believed to have developed from earlier forms during the history of the earth!"

"English?"

"The gradual development of something."

"Oh!" I loosen up as I looked at his calm grey eyes. "Teach me more uhm.."

"Walter, and sure I would love too. What you want to learn?"

"Everything."

<><><><><>With The Group<><><><><>

As they got closer to the end of the trail they come across a group in huts. It wasn't properly protected as it only had a few logs as a wall. And it was small.

Virl started shouting "Give her back assholes!" Before Jeremy shut her up.

"We don't know they have her." He said though it sounded like he didn't believe that himself

"They must have! You saw the blood and footprints!."

"That don't mean!-" before he could finish his sentence he saw a familiar face come out of the gate. Toto.

"Oh hey! Jeremy what can we do for you?"

"Hey Toto we lost one of our members and we are looking for her, ya seen her?"

"No sorry but come in and maybe we can help you in some way." He nodded as he felt Virls glare.

As they walked in Virl started to distance herself away from the group until she wasn't seen. Jeremy didn't care as he followed Toto to a dining tent for the group to eat.
