S1 Chapt 3 - Strange Group

-Recap-

It's been 4 Days since what happened at the wall.Coco has been shot from a stray bullet during the chaos, Honey is having about 5 panic attacks an hour, the boys are trying to help around but Jaxons tough act is withering away as he looks like he desperately needs comforting and Cora is scared to the sharp point of her ears.

She doesn't want to leave me at all or her mother but worse of all Naru hasn't cried, he hasn't moved at all.

His eyes are open from time to time but he might be sick and I don't know what to do.

I shouldn't be doing this on my own.

But I don't trust anyone else to hold him not even Raymond cause the last time I let him hold Naru he nearly dropped him.

Jeremy has explained what had happened at the wall.

Virl wanted to cool off some steam due to my arrival and Jeremy said not too due to the upcoming herd of Walkers, she didn't listen and ran out the building with Jeremy following her in the hallway.

As they made it out,He lost his temper and took her equipment leading them to fight, last thing we know is Jeremy fired a warning shot to Virl so she wouldn't leave but he ended up shooting the lever that protected us all.

And now we are at a small campsite in the forest trying to pick up what we can to survive.

-Present time-

I sit on the cold mossy forest floor with Naru in my hands, shivering from the cold, I do my best to shield him buy taking off my top and wrapping him with it and straightened my vest as it got lifted up with my top when I was taking it off. Cora and River sit next to me not knowing what to say.

"Kids.." we all look up to see Bristol holding hunting equipment. "We are going hunting so you guys have to stay here and look after Coco okay?" We nod as we all got up walking towards the campfire.

"Oh and Tyler?"

"Yea?"

"Don't tell anyone about you know.."

"My bite?"

"Yea. It won't end well"

"Yea I know" it never ends well. Never.

I sit on one of the logs near Timothy as he started making something I never seen before. "What's that?" I ask pointing to his hands.

"What-! It's a smore! Have you not had a smore before!?"

I shook my head

"You have to try this!" He took one of the smores he had made and handed it to me,

"Here!"

It was melting in my hands and the aroma it gave was amazing, I took a bite and oh my was it amazing!

"Do you like it?" He asked eagerly awaiting my response

"Eets goowwd!" I said with the food still in my mouth, everyone started laughing together it was short but it lifted the mood up a little bit.

The small smiles were put to a halt when we saw Jeremy and Bristol come back with another Group. Virl immediately stood up and held her gun close.

"Who the **** are they?" She said demanding an explanation.

Jeremy stepped forward towards us, "This is Toko" He said pointing to a skinny creepy man who seemed to be looking at me. "And this is his group, they will be staying with us for the night so the walkers won't get ahold of them"

Virl protested against this but Jeremy wouldn't budge, he was scared for the child they had with them and for the group in general.

The condition was that they weren't to be left alone with any of the kids. And Virl had said "Especially Toko as I don't Trust him" though Nothing happened it was just awkward and the next day they left accordingly.

Later that day Jeremy decided to take me,Jax and River for a hunting lesson. Raymond was supposed to come but he wanted to look after Naru and I agreed.

"What are we hunting?" I ask intrigued.

"Honestly? Anything that's not rotten."

Jaxon held his pistol in the air fake shooting, "I'm gonna catch the biggest one!" He said confidently, "Oh yeah? I beg you couldn't catch a fly!" I teased nudging him to the left slightly.

"Wanna Race?" He said pointing towards us.

"Hell yeah!" I said running as fast as I could trying to find anything big that I could shoot.

"Jaxon." Jeremy said stopping him.

"Yea?"

"Look after her okay?" He nodded giving him a smile before Running after me in desperation to keep up.

<><><><><><><>15 minutes later <><><><><><><>

"We've been walking for so long and we still haven't found anything!" I complained dragging myself forward.

"I know but we have to find something to bring back" Said Jaxon looking around to find somthing to hunt.

"Look!" I said pointing towards us "A bull!" I looked at him excited as we both ran to the bushes near us readying our weapons.

"This is my kill got it Turner?"

"In your dreams Tengen!"

We both slowly lifted our guns, I aimed for the head while he aimed for the heart. It was tense though it was only a simple bet I knew that he thought that it was more than that like I did. We were having fun and testing our skills.

As I pulled back the trigger a loud bang was heard.

I missed ****! BUT SO DID HE!.

We quickly jumped up to follow the bull only to see a stampede heading our way. "Shit!" Jaxon shouted as he ran the other way leaving me shortly stunned before I came to my senses and followed him as we ran I felt a tug on my shirt and-

Jaxon left out a big sigh of relief when the coast was clear, he looked up seeing Jeremy running towards him in a panic.

"I'm okay! We are okay! It was just a stampede!" He said out of breathe but Jeremy wasn't listening, he kept looking around frantically checking for something. "What's wrong?" He asked, "I told you me and Tyler are fine and no Bulls followed us."

Jeremy looked down at him with a semi-defeated expression on his face before uttering any words. "Jax.. Where's Tyler?"

"What? She's right here..." he turned around and Tyler-Ray was no where to be seen. "No...no! No! She was their I promise she was right there!" He said as tears rolled down his cheek, "I-I didn't mean to leave her! She was right there!" Jeremy pulled him close in a warm embrace before looking at him in the eyes, "Well find her don't worry! Just let me get my stuff and-"

BANG

"What was that..." Jax asked melting with fear.

"Bad news. Really Bad news.."
