S1 Chapt 1 - New Surroundings

[Tyler-Rays pov]

I woke up in an unfamiliar Room,with new clothes,my wounds dressed and a blanket over me in a room with soft baby blue paint on the walls and a lovely beige carpet surrounding me on the floor. The bed was soft,warm and surprisingly in a clean and great condition. I couldn't help but feel comfortable in such a state, but I mustn't get too comfortable as my brothers were not with me and I still needed to find them.

I slowly lifted myself up and quietly winced in pain.

"¿Quién me trajo aquí...?"

("who Brought me here...?")

My hands started to tremble in fear as I couldn't remember how I got here or where I came from. As I tried to recall anything that could help me I heard big footsteps coming from outside the room, I jumped up looking around for anything I could protect myself with but there was nothing I could find that would be affective, as the door opened I charged at the figure continuously punching and kicking as much as I could.

"¿¡que le hiciste a mis hermanos!?"

("What did you do to my brothers!?")

I screamed,looking up to see a middle aged man with light strawberry blonde hair and scruffy clothes.

"Slow down! I won't hurt you..uhm.. kid?" The man put down the tray he was holding onto a nearby surface before kneeling down to me,

"My name is Jeremy, Jeremy Gilmerton. And...uhm..can you understand me?"

He said slowly, I looked at him blankly and slowly nodded, "Yes I can.."

I point my attention to the tray Jeremy was holding, there was various different foods and snacks and a knife,I run towards the tray grabbing the knife and pointed it towards Jeremy but instead of shivering in fear he started to laugh.

"Ain't you cute. Your brothers were quite welcoming but you?,your a fighter and your smart, I can respect that." I lowered the knife as it had no affect on him but made sure to keep it close beside me just in case, "look kid, you don't need to trust me but you have to help me me out atleast, not everyone sees three kids in a abandoned warehouse and much less one with bite marks and survive the 5 hour mark. But you did" he took a step closer and layed his hand infront of me.

"Can you give me the knife?" He asked pointing to his hand.

"No. Its mine." I say holding it tightly "Get...g...get your own nif!" I shouted struggling to put the correct words together.

"K-n-i-f-e. Knife." He corrected, "You don't speak English well...hmm that's nice to know." He pondered for a few minutes and I took a quick look at the door behind us. Maybe if I run I can make it out..or..., "Your name?." His voice caught me off guard "what?" I asked.

"What's your name?" He repeated once more awaiting an answer.

"Don't have."

"You don't have a name? At all?" I shook my head. "That's it I'm giving you a name! How about...Lilly?"

"No."

"Roxanne?"

"No"

"Oh I know how about Ray! Or Tyler!"

I shrugged,

He stood there pondering. "Tyler-Ray?"

I stood there thinking, Tyler-Ray sounded good but It wasn't exactly a name to spread fear among my enemies, oh well I guess it will have to do.

"Tyler..uhm Ray."

Jeremy's face lit up, "Well then, welcome to Rogans Burrow Tyler-Ray, your brother Raymond is downstairs with My son Timothy."

"You named him too?" He nodded with a bright grin on his face, "So are you coming downstairs with me?"

"Will there be food?" I ask

"As much food as you want" he replied as he gently took my hand and lead me down the wooden stairs.

As we went down I see various people,children,teens,adults and elders all in a huge room with a long table which I presume to be the dining room and the closer we got,the closer I could see my brother Raymond with another peculiar boy that I soon realised was Timothy.

"Where's Naru?" I asked pulling Jeremy's sleeve "he's safe don't worry,he's just sleeping in the kindergarten, you can see him after you eat."

When we made it down I was greeted with a warm embrace with Ray,

"¡Hermana! ¡Estás bien!"

(Sister! Are you okay?)

He hugged me as tight as he could before gently putting me down seeing my discomfort.

"Are you alright?" He asked again putting his hand on my shoulder, "I'm Fine don't worry, just Cautious." He nodded "They must want something from us in return for this hospitality,The question is What do they want" I shrugged my shoulders.

The boy next to him walked towards me,he had ginger hair and amber eyes with many freckles around his face,

"Your Raymond's sister right?" I nod

"I'm Tyler-Ray" I said holding my hand out towards him,

"Oh hello Tyler-Ray, My names Timothy! My father's Jeremy Gilmerton as you may know, did you have a good sleep?"

"Yes, it was comfortable I guess"

"I do hope so! You slept till 4:00pm,everyone was worried about you!" Worried huh? I doubt that but say what you must to make me feel better.

Raymond looked towards the door, "There's a huge wall around us providing us shelter..I think it's pretty cool!" He said trying to get my attention.

"It's just a wall." I said.

"a huge wall!" He said eagerly jumping up and down.

"Yea, a big wall. Yippe." By the tone of my voice I think he got the impression that I was not happy and he would be right. We are trapped and surrounded with unfamiliar people and not to mention in a huge cage waiting to be opened,it's dangerous here but it's the best we have at the moment and I know we won't last long if we leave.

I turn to see Jeremy and a few others behind me carrying food and strange equipment. "What are those?" I say pointing to the thing in the hands of a very skinny man, "It's a Swab we are using it to see if your infected. It won't hurt,I promise."

I take a step back. "I will not let you touch me or my brothers."

"Kid please it's for everyone's safety, just let me help you-" he grabbed my hand towards him and started to drag me, I pulled back as hard as I could releasing myself from his grasp and ran towards my brother Raymond,

"Do not touch me!"
