THE FIRST MEETING 2

"Get him," the person said before my eyes closed.

UNKNOWN POV (guess).

I just got here in Oxford from London for a meeting tomorrow with one of our investors concerning a merger. It was late in the night when we touched down. I came here with my secretary and also best friend, Dave who I grew up with but in fact I see him as my elder brother. We were discussing about work as we drove past the city centre and something caught my eye. I asked Arthur, who was driving us to stop. I rolled down my window to see a guy walking towards the street from an alley with torn clothes and a masculine guy trying to catch up with him. The guy fell on his feet and found it difficult to stand back up. I turned to Dave and he immediately knew what to do. I watched him as he made his way towards them causing my bodyguards in the other car to follow him as well.

Xavier and Carl grabbed the guy by his hands and Dave checked his pulse before signalling to me that he was still breathing. He carried the guy towards our car while Xavier and Carl prevented the guy from coming any closer. Unknown to them, the guy took out a pocket knife and attempted to stab Dave with it. Luckily, Dave was sharp enough to dodge it but it was unfortunate for the guy as he was pinned to the ground by both Xavier and Carl. Large crowds began to gather and this was my cue to get off the car. I stood behind these two ladies who were commenting on the situation.

"Hey, do you remember this guy?" One said to the other. He was the same guy that we met as we were entering the club and he was pulling another gentleman.

"Right," the other replied. We thought they were friends so we decided not to bother. Oh my, how could he do that to him? Is he an alpha? That would be the only reason for him to be able to do this to the victim. I wonder too, the friend replied.

"Then, does it mean the victim is an omega?!!" They both exclaimed forcing everyone to turn. Everyone began to whisper among themselves.

My mind was still on what the two females said and I felt infuriated at the thought of it. I did not know when I spaced out but I did until I realised Dave has been trying to get my attention for a minute.

"Should we leave now? It's late and you have a meeting early tomorrow". He said coercing me to start walking to the car. I've already called the police and they will be here soon.

"Where is he?" I asked. He pointed toward the direction of the car. I just nodded and went to sit in the car. Dave went back to give instructions to Xavier and Carl before we drove off to my house.

ZAYAN'S HOUSE.

"How is he doing? I asked Dave who was tucking him in bed. It appears he is on heat and the information I received from Xavier and Carl is that the intruder has several cases against him for this. His targets are omegas who are vulnerable. I sighed.

Tell the police officer not to let him out at any course and I'm pressing charges against him for his previous offences as well.

Yes, I will. Dave said. But why are you doing this? You don't even know the victim that much. Is it because he's an omega or because.....

No, it's not. I just did what I had to do.....just helping a victim like always. I interrupted him.

During our conversation, we heard someone groaning. We both diverted our eyes to the sleeping victim on the bed. His hands gripped his abdomen tightly as tears were trickling down his face.

" Hey. are you okay? Immediately, the pheromones released from him was too strong for me to withstand. I took a step back from the close proximity we had covering my nose with my hand.

"Can....can I....I get a suppressant? He asked trembling.

I nodded to Dave I'll go get it since he's a beta and wouldn't be affected by his pheromones. He firmly understood what I conveyed and went closer to the victim's side.

I returned with the suppressants but asked Xavier and Carl to give them to Dave while I stood outside the door. Why am I easily doing this for someone I don't know? I asked myself pacing on the corridor. The door was opened slowly and both Xavier and Carl came out saying he was okay and I could go in now.

"Wait!" I abruptly said turning to both Xavier and Carl. Xavier is a recessive omega and Carl is a beta so it was right for them to go in.

"The suppressants. How long does it work?" The question was to Xavier who could be the best person to know more about being omegas.

"It depends. I have never taken any before but male omegas only take suppressants when they do not want others to know they're omegas. He also seems to be a dominant one. Xavier answered.

"I realised".

"But suppressants, do not take effect for a long time when a dom.......

"Why are you guys still here?" Dave interrupted. We did not even realised when he came out. They quickly left after excusing themselves.

Come on, Dave. It's not a big deal. I was just asking him some questions. It's not like they're slugging. I said walking into my room. Let's talk later closing the door behind me.

I walked towards the bed and he was sleeping peacefully. Looking down at his pretty feminine face, a double eyelid and his sharp nose and his lips.....my heart skipped a beat. He has a bow-shaped lips which appears soft and pink in colour and his pale skin looks more smoother up close. Unbeknownst to me, our lips were an inch apart captivating me to go further. Now, our lips swiftly brushed against each other causing him to shift in his sleep. My eyes, still fixated on his lips kept drawing me closer and closer. I leaned in and gave him a gentle kiss on the lips. Before I could pull away, a force gravitated me towards him, our lips resting on each one's. I cupped his face with my hand tilting my head to the right as I parted my lips to engulf his. His reaction towards this was somewhat not expected. With force, he beckon me toward him, skin-to-skin, lip-to-lip, savouring every bit of the other's lips. The little gasps that escaped from his mouth turned me on more. I applied more pressure to the kiss, my tongue exploring his mouth and gently nipping on his lips. Our skin became warm evicting the coldness of the night as we continued to devour every last bit and breaking in-between to catch our breaths. We parted and with my body still on his, I pulled myself up. Lo and behold, he went back to sleep causing me to chuckle.

"I like you," I whispered in his ear. He groped my hands and refused to let go.

Just then, a call came from his phone. I answered the call and the person on the other line was a female.

"Big head, where are you? Why did you suddenly leave with a stranger? What's wrong with you? We kept searching for you for so long only to find out someone tried to assault you? Like, what the hell? Why are you silent? She yelled. I took the phone off my ears.

"Hey, he's sleeping. I'll inform him when he wakes up." I ended the call after that. The phone was placed back at its previous position. I slowly caressed his cheek and he let out a soft moan.

"Who are you? I softly asked as I stared at him.

"Jay....Jayde." His response was rather like a question instead of an answer. I just brushed it off.
